Came in to get my laptop's thermal pads and paste replaced. Friendly and open staff were clear about pricing. Got home and my computer's working better than it did when I first got it, and they were even kind enough to give the screen and back a nice clean.

Had 2 computers with liquid cooling that needed reinstall after moving here to alaska with 1 being a high volume custom xspc system. It was $100 cheaper to install than Oklahoma City charged for removal. I even forgot to take a picture of the motherboard wiring before. Highly recommend if you have any custom builds or gaming systems and don't feel like getting heat grease or antifreeze mess in your home.

I'm an online student (like a lot of us nowadays), so when my laptop refused to boot, it was a major panic moment. After calling around a couple places who quoted me a 3 day turnaround, they fixed it in about ten minutes. It turns out it was a RAM issue, and since it was such a quick fix, they didn't even charge me for it.

They fixed an issue with my ECU in a few hours and was nice and cheap $$ thank you guys for going above and beyond

Very happy with this company. I have had them help me with little lap top problems for several years. Their prices are very reasonable, they are easy to talk to, and they are honest - if the problem isn't fixable they say so ( I had a mini lap top die). They are our go to place. Most recently ( 10-5-20) Bob fixed a couple software problems for me quickly and got my lap top working very smooth again.

Always such a great help for our business and personal needs. A lot of our issues are able to be fixed remotely and it's super convenient. We have PC's and work with Josh and Bob and they are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Absolutely recommend.

I had an issue about my gaming pc not have any video signal. I called, bob answered the phone and said he can check it out. He did a quick troubleshooting and in no time he got my pc working again! He was very friendly and kept me updated on what he was doing. To top it all off he didn't charge me, most places will charge you a lot of money even for a simple problem. I definitely recommend and will be coming back for my future pc needs!

Did not get to use their services, but based on customer service, and honestly alone i would go to these guys. Got me set up for recovering a drive and even shared a discount code. I recommend these guys for cutting the sugar and sending me to a solution.

I went to these guys to fix a hard drive problem on my 2012 MacBook Pro. They were upfront and honest, and had everything done faster than estimated! Now my computer is better than when I bought it! Thanks!

I created this google account to write a review on Alaska Computer Geeks LLC. I posted on yellow pages as well, These 2 guys are fantastic. I do not understand how these 5+ year old reviews could even be targeting Alaska Computer Geeks, They went so far out of their way for my family and my best friends business it was shocking. This is the type of service I haven't received in over 10 years from any other company.

Not saying other companies are not good but this is different. Josh has helped me over the phone on Sunday, Bob has stayed late for me twice now. This is the way local companies should be and my friend and myself have thanked god for people like these two, making a difference in the technology industry. They are amazingly intelligent and more importantly able to deliver their help in a positive and respectful way. I do not write reviews but they told me about the ancient posts and I offered to help.

My computer bricked itself (virus got past Avast) and I needed a reformat/reinstall. These guys were great. They reinstalled the OS and reloaded my Office programs. Cost me exactly what they quoted me and was done a day and a half early. I will definitely be using them again.

I have been a long term client of AK Computer Geeks, and as someone who has very little time to deal with computer issues I don't have the time to wait for "technicians" to figure out what the problem is. Well with AK Computer Geeks, they have always been prompt and quick with every thing I have had them do for me, and they already know how to fix every problem I call them with, they don't spend 2 days figuring out what it is.

Over the years they have done advanced networking configuration for me and helped me with some of the technical things that other computer shops in the area don't know anything about. Seriously though, as the King of Spartans, I don't have time to mess around with script kiddies who just got a job as an IT guy, I need to quickly check my work email from remote locations so I can get back to slaying the Gods of Olympus.

Hard to believe there are negative reviews about this company, though I am very busy with all the slaying I do, I still took the time to write a review because without AK Computer Geeks, I wouldn't be able to write this review at all, considering I am currently climbing Mount Olympus to slay Zeus. Good Day.

Horrible! I dropped my computer off along with my external to have the information taken off my hard drive and put on my external, when I got my external home it had someone elses personal files and information on it. No idea where mine ended up! So scary. I contact the other person and let them know to. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY!
