James was beyond helpful even though it was just a phone call estimate for my MacBook pro! Recently, I spilled coffee on my MacBook and called him up to see how much it would cost to have him repair and when I could have it by and with no hesitation he gave me all the information I needed to know. Thanks a lot man!

I called AK Computer Doctor yesterday and was told that I would be hearing from him between 2pm and 5pm today, 6/2/21. On the dot at 2pm he called to tell me that I would more than likely hear from him in an hour or less. I did hear from him during that time frame! So happy and shocked at the same time! In today's world for a business person to do something like that is almost unheard of; to do exactly what they say they are going to do.

I have become so accustomed to not expecting punctuality, professionalism, pleasant personality, knowledge and just plain niceness. The AK Computer Doctor comprises all those things and more! What an Anchorage treasure! I will be calling him whenever I have a problem with my computer from today on! James did an outstanding job diagnosing a motherboard problem that killed my too old desktop computer. The system had a Raid 0 pair of hard drives that also had some issues. While my emergency required me to get a new machine, he managed to recover the Raid 0 drives and really streamlined the setup of the new machine. Make sure to back up the Raid 0 drives! Thanks for the help, James.

I had originally taken my laptop to another local shop for some issues involving the rig clicking on it's own. After weeks of literally no progress and no info or updates ever, I finally asked for my laptop back. I searched around and found Computer Doctor. Seeing the good reviews I checked these guys out. Set up an appointment and BOOM. He kept me up to date with progress and developments and responded to what I asked for with over the top service.

He apologized for being "slow" which was taking one week to get the issue fixed as well as some other damage the other shop had caused that he had to order a special tool to fix. No extra charge for that extra work either. I wish I could give more than 5/5. This guy is THE GUY to go to.

This is the best computer company I have ever dealt with. They are always well dressed, polite, professional, and VERY patient when answering questions. I like that you can call them whenever you have questions. They DO call you back, and DO contact you if they are going to be a few minutes late because the previous appointment ran over. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. They DO leave you happy when they leave!

I would recommend the Alaska Computer Doctor anytime and have done so. I especially appreciate that I am able to telephone and the Alaska Computer Doctor himself answers the phone. When possible, he tries to solve matters over the phone right then. When I have a new computer and/or printer, he sets it up for me so that I am ready to go. In the future I will also e-mail him questions or problems of a lesser nature. James Nelson, owner, not only solves the computer issues I have at the time, he also offers helpful suggestions. He is courteous and makes sure that all current problems are addressed before he leaves. I STRONGLY recommend the Alaska Computer Doctor.

I first hired James (Alaska Computer Doctor) to fix a computer for me in 2004 and he has been helping me with computers ever since. He used to help me with PC's and most recently I switched to Mac and he has counseled me on how back up with Time Machine on my network. I can recommend him for whatever you need in the way of computer help.

What a pleasant experience. I had some major problems with my computer. They repaired and cleaned up the system, put some free Avast and Malware programs on for virus protection, charged me only $99. I am totally happy and recommend the company to everyone.

James was very professional. I thought $99 was incredibly reasonable for the amount of work he did to restore my computer. It runs as fast, if not faster than it was when it was new. James is the most incredible computer guru, I have ever had work on my computers. Had a very serious problem; lost all my emails and file folders 1000s of email lost. I sell Real Estate and to lose all my files was a totally nightmare. James arrived and calmly went to work. He was able to bring back everything I had lost.
