The man was straight forward and to the point. I took a game with me that I couldn't play on my pc so I found them off google. They tried installing the game for several days but the game was old and ran off windows 98. I wasn't even charged thank you will be seeing you for all my computer needs thats for sure.

Knowledgeable and knew what part I needed for my laptop. Fast and friendly service.

I wish I knew of Northwest Computer sooner. Excellent timely service at a reasonable price. Went to Geek Squad first and not only wasted my time but left in despair that nothing could be done for my crashed hard drive. Went to Northwest and within a few days of professional, skillful work, my hard drive data was recovered on a new external and a new solid state drive installed with the operating system.

I was just hoping to get my precious data back and I got my entire laptop back. Quality work done, so I'm a satisfied customer that will recommend and be a returning customer if ever I have another computer issue. This same review is on Yelp as well. I just want to make sure I give the proper recognition and shout out when a business does right by their professionalism.

I am so thankful for Northwest Computer! I can't recommend them enough. He was able to save my external hard drive and years worth of pictures of my kids. I can't recommend them enough!

I have had very good experiences with the people at NW Computers & TV Repair. The most recent event was my laptop was blue screening, which had never happened before. I took it to them and they figured out it was due to a recent Microsoft update. They fixed the problem and I haven't had any further problem with the laptop. They have fixed various laptop(s) issues for me over a number of years and I have been very satisfied with their service and extremely grateful for their expertise and effort to identify the problem and fix it.

Brought my tablet because it wasn't working. The extremely knowledgeable gentleman took the back off and hooked up a couple of ribbon cables that were not connected and it worked fine after that. He didn't even charge me anything for it! This is the kind of "old neighborhood" shop that I'm used to. I will definitely patronize this business again!

So now the owner is calling me a liar. He said all I do is insult businesses. You can judge for yourself and view my other postings. I describe my experiences exactly as they happen, good or bad. The fact remains - they didn't fix my computer, they didn't even offer to fix it. The bozo on Wheaton Way didn't fix my computer, but the guy in Seattle did. I'm actually doing the store a favor by pointing out why I'll never go there again. A wise businessman would use reviews to improve his customer service. A dope just gets mad.

Don't let them touch your computer, or at least back up everything. They didn't follow what I asked, took a short cut, and they wiped all my photos. Lots of lost history for me now. Follow Up, since you can't reply to their comments about my review being unfair: You apparently only remember part of the story. How my problem started: I was going from a 1 TB drive to 6 TB drive.

I made an exact copy onto the 6 TB drive. That was the problem as it was exact in name also, so computer made the 6 TB the slave and 1 TB the main, and I couldn't run the 6TB alone as it could no longer boot on its own. I told the tech to get the 6 TB drive to boot, then wipe the 1 TB, as I don't care about what is on it. As in the 1 TB drive. the 6 TB had already got all my photos, etc, moved onto it. When I left, I repeated, 6 TB drive to boot, wipe the 1 TB drive. So, like your employee, you heard what you wanted too. I repeat, do go here.

Cannot say enough nice things about this place! I took my laptop to them in a panic after my hard drive abruptly failed. Best Buy wanted almost 300 for just diagnosing and data recovery and this close to Christmas that's just not an option. They let me bring in an external hard drive and managed to recover my data within a day and it cost less than the original estimate. So impressed with this place and their workers and will be going here for all electronic issues from now on!

This place has saved what felt like my life more than once. They know their stuff, and don't charge a fortune just cuz they've got you over a barrel. If Northwest Computers ever closes up shop and I have to find someone else the next time I have a computer emergency, I'll be so scared.

Excellent service! First i took my laptop to Staples and they said it couldn't be fixed. Northwest fixed the broken hinges on my Toshiba laptop in 2 hours for $99. I would definitely recommend them plus it's great to support small local businesses. Bonus is the sweet little kitty hanging out inside, she loves the belly rubs.

Quality help at an understandable rate. Good service that is explained why and how it could have been prevented. iPhone repair, motherboard replacement etc. It just smells weird in there. Maybe that's what keeps them working fast? They were also simply upfront about markups, "you can goto ___ and get one for ___, we carry them for ___."

This place is like 85% of the businesses on Callow. CRAP! I went in to NorthWest Computers looking for help buying an hard drive reader. The guy at the counter went on and on about this external hard drive that looked very nice and would have been perfect for me. They even showed me one right before they said " ohh. we don't have any more. Hmm.

What about ordering one for me. Their response. "You can buy these at Best Buy." Best Buy. Sound like you don't like money. or working. All you had to do was order one. I would have paid for it that day. Never Again. Hey, I tried to shop local.

Northwest Computer is the place to take a TV if it needs to be repaired. They fixed our tv for very inexpensive, did it quickly with great customer service. Rich was in contact with us from the get go. I would take another tv to be repaired there any day!

Long story short. I took my broken computer to the geeks at best buy. The squad couldn't say for certain what my computers problem was, but insisted I need to buy a $400 membership. Not to mention my computer would be shipped to another state. I then shopped around and decided I would take a chance with NW Computers. Glad I did, they quickly found my computers problem and fixed it, with in 1 day.

The geek squad at best buy told me it was the hard drive. NW computers found a simple wire harness that needed to be replaced, and saved me at least 75% of the cost Best Buy quoted me. Lesson here kids is support local business.

Northwest Computers has been my computer doctor through four computers and have been wonderful to deal with. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the customized computer that you so professionally made for me. I have owned four computers and the one you made is by far and above all others in every way. Not only is it working like a team of mules in Death Valley but it is also eye appealing. Northwest Computers has been my computer doctor for many years now and your quality and speed of service is the cream of the crop.

I can't say enough about you folks. I also appreciate the fact that you rescued some cats and that speaks wonders for your care and concern. Here's to a continued relationship. You are a boon to this city and definitely an asset for me being basically housebound. Your willingness to pick up and deliver the repaired goods is worth it's weight in gold. I've actually brought various computers to NW Computer Services several times over the years as I've upgraded desktops, they're my preferred service store for fixing computers. I've always been pleased with their prompt, courteous service and their repair prices. Last week I brought in my laptop after my wife spilled coffee over the keyboard and my whole system went to pot.

My laptop was ready for pickup a couple days later at a very reasonable cost. Everything worked fine except the keyboard was too damaged to be repaired and they ordered a new one. In the meantime they loaned me a temp keyboard I could plug in until my 'ordered' one arrived two days later. I would recommend this place for computer repairs to anyone!

They did a good job diagnosing my laptop's problems and repairing it. The cost was less than half of what I thought it would be. Thanks Richard!
