This is a great local business. I have a gaming pc that had CPU overheating issues with the original equipment bought from another vender. I had the Computer Shack install a new CPU liquid cooler and check out my Power Supply. The new CPU Cooler works great! I am very happy. The Power Supply checked out good. So I didn't need another one. They cleaned out the whole PC. They do quality work. I can defiantly recommend this place for PC upgrades.

I had dropped my laptop about a year ago and pulled the power out and eventually it broke off. I called around to multiple computers repair shops all telling me they don't repair broken parts. I gave it one last search and called Computer Shack, Michelle not only new what I was talking about she said she could fix it. When I picked up my laptop, it was like new.
I needed a new power cord as well which she had in stock. Out the door at $170 dollars was worth every penny! She is one of the best out there! Do not hesitate to give her a call with your computer needs.

After a BIOS Update from Hewlett Packard completely borked my entire PC, and lengthy back and forth with HP support and repair I finally decided to rely on Michelle after receiving a replacement unit that had been shipped to me without an SSD installed that was promised. After finally getting the part, not only did she take my PC while already. swamped with orders but she also worked after hours in order to get my PC set up with the SSD installed and Windows moved onto that drive. Michelle went above and beyond to end my month long inconvenience with Hewlett Packard, and on top of it all, she's a very personable and considerate person. I love the fact there's a PC parts and repair shop with her in Bonney Lake.

Michelle is a wizard. She and I were both pretty sure my gaming laptop was toast, but it only took her 24 hours to get it back up and running and for a GREAT price! She stayed in contact and called as soon as it breathed life once more. I will be returning here for all my repair needs from here forward. GLORIOUS!

I've been to them a few times over the last couple years, at first when they still rented out that actual Commercial space across the street from the private Home they're in now. They are knowledgeable and from my most recent visit, quite considerate as I stopped in to see if they could give a Laptop a cleaning before I gave it to a family member.
I was in a rush so I couldn't get a thorough internal cleaning as that would take about an hour, but then the owner (I believe) offered to blow out as much junk from the keyboard and vents using compressed air as she could free of charge. That felt too generous so I picked up some cans of compressed air myself since I needed some anyway, which they carried.
Try not to let the fact they operate out of an old house these days get to you, they're still pretty professional, they carry the newest, powerful components for sale, and I believe they even build custom PCs. The price point however may be higher since they're a small business. But I do love how there's a place like this in-town for things in a pinch.

I have a small business in Bonney Lake. Computer shack is our friendly neighborhood computer expert. They have cared for my computers for about 10 years. I get wonderful advice and service for my computers here. I highly recommend them to anyone. If you are within 30 miles, I recommend that you use them as your "neighborhood" computer repair experts.

I was in tears when I called and found Michelle at the Computer Shack on a Tuesday. I had just lost 30,000 pictures from the last 15 years. I was beside myself! She sounded incredibly knowledgeable on the phone and offered to look at my external hard drive the next morning. I took it to her that following Thursday later in the day. I called the next day to check on it and she had recovered ALL of my pictures! She was incredible! I'm so happy that I found a computer shop that I can trust. She's personable and has a plethora of knowledge.

Michelle Armstrong has been the owner of Computer Shack for over 21 years strong. However, her computer repair experience is actually longer than the Computer Shack's existence. Here is some historical information that many customers may not even be aware of, but Michelle first started out as an employee for Plateau Computer Repair (which is. actually Computer Shack's less famous birth name that Michelle's former boss/owner came up with.) I don't even know her boss's name.
All I know is that he worked for Microsoft and this computer repair shop was just a side gig for him, and he eventually sold it to Michelle. It used to be located up on 410 Hwy. heading towards Buckley. Michelle may have.

Michelle Armstrong, I am honestly surprised that she's been in business competing with the big wig chain stores for over 21 years! Her location has changed only a couple of times in all of these years. Her newest location is right across the street wedged in between the pawn shop and the convenience store in a little house that's about to be repainted. You can see it from her old location. She's built me 1 desktop, 2 laptops, plus rescued my drowned MacBook Pro!

One of the best computer shops around. I had a graphics issue with my computer recently. Other shops wanted me to bring it in so they could charge me a diagnostic fee and then probably try to sell me a new GPU. Not these guys. Aaron walked through several details with me until we discovered it was a heating issue on my South Bridge which can be fixed with a simple fan. I have never had a bad experience here and everyone who works here seems to know intimate details about PCs. Highly recommended.

I've brought my family's PCs to them numerous times over the years, and never had a bad experience. Basically, anything you would think to call geek squad for, but then don't, due to their cost, call these guys instead. Their service is fast, even during the holidays, and they always fix the problem. I've brought in PCs that simply went blank, PCs that started acting up due to a virus or malware, and a PC that died after a power outage. They've replaced parts, and installed hardware for me, and can often save stuff for you, for a fair price, if you need them to, before replacing a hard drive. They're not cheap, BUT, they're more reasonable than anywhere else, plus you get fast, friendly, knowledgable service, and they stick to their estimated price range.

Great service! Brought my laptop in for a repair diagnostic because it would not turn on. Michelle jumped right into finding out the issue. She was able to find out the issue quickly and replaced a bad stick of ram all within 15 minutes! The price was very good for the ram and service (she also cleaned fan vents). Very happy with service; I'm also a very tech savvy person and I could tell she knew her stuff! She did not try to pressure me into spending unnecessary money on upgrades or services, which is a great quality for an honest business.

I brought my laptop here after it seemed to crash. It took about two weeks and the news was bad. A tech. named Chris called and said my hard drive was bad. He could replace the hard drive and would be able to save some info and OS but not my Office programs for about $250. I decided to pick it up and buy a hard drive on my own. The diagnostic they did cost me $40. (I now know most places diagnose for free) On my search for a hard drive another computer place wanted to check my laptop before selling me a new hard drive, guess what. my hard drive was fine.
This place repaired my computer in one day and even my office program was accessible. Went back to Computer Shack to get back my $40 after they diagnosed it wrong but they refused. Computer shack insists my hard drive will fail eventually, but won't they all fail eventually? Not impressed
