Computer Surplus Solutions

I have been having many computer problems lately. Most of them I feel have been caused by updates by Microsoft, Google and others. They seemed, to me, to each trying to outdo the others. Anyway, I have been visiting Computer Surplus Solutions many times lately, and they have been able to fix my computer quickly and at a reasonable cost. They are wonderful and highly recommended by me!

My laptop inherited a horrible virus. I have used this company several times with always the same result. They are a pleasure to deal with, quick, efficient and reasonable. Their repairs outlast the life of the computer. Service is great, I was in and out in one day. Highly recommend!

They've helped both my husband and I with our laptops over the last year or so. They're professional, do great work, and are so nice. Would highly recommend them!

Joe is an excellent computer repair person. We've brought him our computers (desktops and laptops) in recent years because of hardware failure. He diagnoses the issue and installs the new part quickly. Very reasonable prices. My dad also purchased a refurbished desktop PC from this place, and it still runs great! I hope this repair shop sticks around for many years to come. 5 stars!

My oldish laptop shut itself down with a "cooling fan" problem. I had been ignoring the heat and funny noise for awhile. I was afraid I might have killed it before I had backed up 5 years of pictures and documents. Gulp. Yesterday I took it in to Computer Surplus Solutions, conveniently located up the road from my house. How lucky can I be?! I saw Joe, who figured out that there was cat fur, cracker crumbs, and possibly yogurt in that fan vent, so he blew it out real well. OK, Joe didn't know what the heck was in there, but I did.

He plugged it in, and I sat down and logged in to a few of my websites, and TA-DA! I have a new laptop, even without the up arrow key which I broke off by accident a couple of years ago. Joe was patient with my dumb questions, answering them clearly and kindly. He didn't charge me and told me to try it out for the weekend and bring it back Monday if it happens again. I'm using my laptop now to write this, and there's no funny noise or heat. Thank you, Joe and Computer Surplus Solutions! You're my new computer fix-it shop.

John and Joe offer excellent service and advice. Twice now I have purchased laptops from them and I have always been pleased with the value and performance. Love these guys. Very honest. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Brought my computer back after they did some work on it as my new one lost some screws. They fixed it for free. Wow. Great service.

John (the owner) is a straight forward, honest guy & will get you what you need if he doesn't have it & for a reasonable price. He is an asset to this dying "small computer repair business" industry & I hope he sticks around a very long time! His techs (Joe we've dealt with primarily) knows their stuff very well. My wife & I have used these guys several times & have been more than pleased with their care, their work & their prices and how quickly they get the job done. There are almost no independent computer stores left in this area, and thank goodness CSS is still around, both very easy to get to, and as honest as the day is long. Top quality work, friendly techs, and very very reasonable prices. They seem to be able to fix almost any problem, especially laptops! Repair places on 128 are double to triple the cost of a CCS repair. I've been very pleased dealing with them.
