Computer Down Under saved my butt. My computer was nearly destroyed by a cat jumping up and knocking out over in the middle of a Zoom call. Said feline also refused to pay damages and apparently no court will take up my case but that's neither here or there. Computer Down Under took a look at the damaged touch screen and assessed the price and timeframe. But, since this was 2020 they had the unfortunate luck to have an employee test positive for Covid and had to quarantine while still in possession of my computer.
They alerted me to this as soon as they could and I was first in line after their quarantine ended. They even cleaned up my solid state drive for me. Highly recommend them, don't recommend the cat

Great service and experience. Was having trouble with my custom built pc and called another place that said they don't touch custom builds. Was glad when I called here they would look at it. Dropped it off and called me few hours later to tell me it was fixed and ready for pick up next day. The receptionist and technician were friendly. Minus one star because it was closed earlier than posted time when I went to pick up.

Took my refurbished desktop to them. Dave, the owner was wonderfully responsive to my questions, problems, and needs. Everyone there is quite pleasant. And my new (refurbished) desktop now works wonderfully well. Next time I need a new computer, I am likely just going to them to build me one. The customer service is outstanding! Thank you all!

I work for the Comm. of Mass and am working from home during the COVID-19 crisis, answering telephone calls and providing court-related assistance. I require the use of my home PC to accomplish my duties. Yesterday, I was required to clean the CPU cooling fan due to an excess heat issue and needed to obtain CPU thermal paste to complete the repair. Dave at Computers Down Under graciously provided with a tube, as it was unavailable elsewhere unless i wanted to drive to Cambridge. I commend Dave for allowing to acquire thermal paste to make the necessary repairs. Please consider Computers Down Under for your future computer-service related work.

The fix for my laptop was simple. I was overcharged. Edit: thank you for the response. The details of what happened include that my laptop wasn't charging. It was left to charge overnight. I returned to be told it was fine. It wasn't and I had to come back Suggesting that it was so simple, I should have fixed it myself, when your shop wasn't able to do so the first time in is snippy and condescending.

I stopped down there looking for a charger for my daughters computer, because all the ones I've ordered online been wrong. They didn't have it in stock but he asked where I ordered from I said Amazon, he looked it up gave me all the numbers of what I needed. I got it in the mail and it was the right one. They weren't looking to make a buck off me, although I would've gladly paid just because of their knowledge. They seem very fair and honest will definitely do business with them again.
