SOUTHBURY - President Andrew J. Chapin founded Chapin Business Services, 711 Bucks Hill Rd., in 1995 with the idea of helping others. He told Voices, "We felt that if we went into this venture with the idea of helping people first, success would follow."Twenty years later, he feels the idea has worked, acknowledging that time, economic conditions, customer needs and technology have shaped the evolution of services his company offers to residents and businesses of one to 100 employees.
Chapin Business Services provides networking support, on-site service, software instruction, hardware and upgrades, also producing the Connecticut Home Navigator magazine to share tech tips and community information such as real estate listings.

Computer problems can be frustrating. What adds to that frustration is having to get your system replaced, repaired or upgraded without fully understanding what the best decision is for you. We discuss all options with you before any work is done. We go over the costs of purchasing a new system, repairing the current one or upgrading the system and discuss which is right for you, based on your needs and your budget. We strive to make you feel comfortable with your decision and stand by our work.
Computers have become central to our lives. We understand the need for your computer system to be up and running all the time, both at the office and at home. If your system is down, we will come to you to resolve the problem. You do not have to dismantle the system and bring it to our office. In fact, we prefer to come to your location.
Many computer issues can be prevented by performing routine maintenance on the computers. The issue many have is remembering to do the work and what to look for. We have developed this plan to alleviate that problem with the goal of saving our customers money over the course of a year. The first session is when we install our software and conduct Maintenance.
Setting up a network allows you to get the most out of your computer system. You'll be able to share data, peripherals, and internet connections among several computers. A networked system will save you money and increase your productivity. Our firm will suggest the best type of network for you to use.
