I made a custom build PC, turned it on, and everything seemed fine until I tried to load a Windows 10 OS. The system would freeze every time I tried to install the OS. I tried everything to troubleshoot the issue myself but came up short. I brought my PC to Palm Tree Tech Center and they diagnosed the issue within 24 hours. I was skeptical when they told me it was the motherboard, but I still took their advice and had it replaced.
I replaced the bad motherboard and installed the new one, and Windows loaded right up with no issues. They pin pointed the problem in 1 day and I'm up and running. Would highly recommend to anyone with PC issues.

Please Know; Palm Tree Tech Center NO LONGER SERVICES THEIR ANALOG SYSTEMS THEY INSTALLED. We had Palm Tree Tech complete an install on an analog surveillance system in our home two years ago March 2020. At the time of the quote and during the sales pitch Paul told us they would back and service the products they installed. We are currently having an issue with one of the cameras and wanted a tech to check it out.
We have no problem paying for parts or labor involved. I was finally able to speak to someone at Palm Tree today (Jay), after leaving a message on 28 March with no reply. Jay informed us, they no longer service analog systems, due to the difficulty in the availability of parts for analog systems also they are not as reliable as digital, BUT will gladly send some out to look at our system for $124 service charge, along with providing us a quote for an upgrade for a new digital surveillance system.
I explained to Jay, but you still advertise the analog systems for install and read the following listing advertisement. I questioned why their website still advertised analog systems sales & installation? If they are no longer selling or installing or servicing these systems? (Response; we haven't updated the website) I expressed my concern with a future purchase of digital system from Palm Tree Tech considering the predicament we are now in with the analog installation; it would benefit me to entertain proposals from a tech company who doesn't back the products they install. (Example; I purchase digital, then you only service fiber optic, etc.) We always to try support local businesses and have no problems paying for any additional products and services.
We do have a bit of heart burn with companies who pitch their companies as carrying "top-of-the-line surveillance equipment & including installation" but when necessary don't stand behind their products & service. I believe your surveillance system will be with you for a while just like a car/vehicle. When you buy your car, (surveillance system) you don't want to call for service & hear someone say, "that wasn't a good/reliable car we sold you, we can't fix it, but we will sell you a better/new one"! :(

I brought a laptop that connects verrrry slowly to the internet to this place due to its good reviews. Paid $50 for a diagnostic and was told there is nothing wrong with the laptop. just that we must have slow internet. While that is true, we have three other laptops with less ram and older cpus that perform fine. The people were nice and communicated well, so props for that. I guess.

Working with the team at Palm Tree Tech has been fantastic! With IT issues always popping up Palm Tree is responsive, listens (no matter how silly the problem sometimes is) and sticks with you until it's resolved. Andrew truly treats every customer as if you're the only one. We use them for personal and business applications. If you have a personal IT or computer issue - call Palm Tree. I needed help adding internet security for my family on my laptop and home computer. Jeremiah was super helpful and went the extra mile to make sure my settings were correct for what each family member needed. He also shared his knowledge of additional online resources to help educate my younger child about internet safety. I can't compliment Palm Tree enough and will certainly come back for any issues in the future.

I went in for a power input connection replacement. Part was oredered amd replaced. Got home and the battery and power cord are no longer recognized. I was told it wasn't their fault and the hard drive was failing (don't see the correlation betweem the two but i also don't know computers). I would understand if i had battery/charging issues before, however, this was not the case.
I honestly feel that something was messed up during the repair process and they do not want to own the mistake. It's disappointing because i want to support local businesses but then get service like this. Oh well, lesson learned.

I highly recommend Andrew and his team. Andrew is the new owner, and he and his team (Logan and Sam) addressed issues we were having with WIFI coverage in our home and the need to expand coverage to a detached building. Andrew, was extremely helpful in resolving our issues/requests. He returned our call and came out promptly to assess our needs. He listened carefully to our issues, was creative in finding cost effective solutions and did not try to oversell us.
He patiently answered all of our questions and he and his team worked efficiently to install what we needed. His rates were reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them and they will always be my "go to" for my tech needs.

The worst service I have ever received. I brought my computer in to be serviced because the battery died for good. The only reason I brought it in instead of replacing was because I wanted to keep my files. It was completely wiped when I got it back and was charge nearly $1000. The service was so rude as well. There is now a missing screw in my computer and it's literally falling apart. Do not recommend. Tried to go local. Didn't work out

Palm Tree Tech Center cannot be more helpful. They single handedly saved my son's high school project by quickly fixing my son's computer in less than a day. Their staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I am very glad they are so close to where I live. I highly recommend Palm Tree Tech Center

Great experience here. I was having a lot of trouble charging my iPhone. I thought that I might need to have the jack replaced. Their website quoted a cost for this repair and it was competitive related to similar businesses that do this repair. I brought it in there on a Saturday afternoon thinking that I might have to come back for it. However they took it to the back and looked at it and determined that they charging port just needed a really good clean out.
They did it for me and did not charge. Folks in here were super nice too. They have it set up so that it is only reasonable for 1 person to be in the lobby at a time for social distancing, but it is not a busy place generally anyhow. I will be supporting this shop for future needs too. Appreciate this small neighborhood business. Good folks here!

I needed help in getting my computer in order and they recommended their virus removal/ransomware service. This was the first time I needed computer service in my current area. They quoted me $230. I asked why so much? The tech person responded something like: "I guess it is a matter of knowing how to do it." Months later my son got into my computer and clicked on a link that downloaded a virus.
I shopped around and found Ifixit (or similar) a couple of miles away. There are several in the UCF/east Orlando area. They charged me $75 for the same service. I guess I was taken for a ride. Because of this I would never use them again and recommend you look around.

I have never wasted my time writing a review before, but the disrespect I have experienced at Palm Tree has prompted me to make my first one. Vicki, the lady who works in the front, has consistently interacted with me in the most condescending, scornful manner. I have never felt so uncomfortable by the way somebody in customer service has treated me. It's a shame though because the actual computer technician's have always done an awesome job.

The Palm Tree experience can best be described as unusual. First, when I came in I was sorta greeted by a disinterested counter service person with no people skills or friendly attitude. All he wanted to do was check-in the repair and give him $50.00 for a diagnostic fee. Not the least bit interested in hearing any of the details of the problem. Said they would be in touch soon.
I asked him to define soon and that made the experience even more uncomfortable. A day or 2 later I got an email with a diagnosis, costs and customer options. Communication afterwards was via email and concise with the options and was quickly accomplished (3 days total). New hard drive installed and Windows 10 upgrade for close to $400.00. A tad steep I thought but how do you shop for a better price after paying the upfront diagnostic fee? Lastly, I was asked if I wanted a receipt and I asked it to be emailed.
The receipt arrived but only had total price paid not itemization of work and parts or warranty. In this day and age who doesn't provide an itemized bill? The computer works but after all this time, over a month, I still haven't gotten back to normal after the wipe caused by the hard drive replacement. I don't dare go back to Palm Tree seeking advice for fear of another unfriendly engagement and a diagnostic fee. There are dozens of other repair techs in this area and I recommend that they be consulted for initial cost estimates based on problems experiencing.

My pc stoped working and I was pretty sure that it was my mother board was fried so I took it here to just be sure that it was the motherboard that wasn't working and not something else, it was $50 for them to reinsure that it was my motherboard and it took them at least a week, after getting it back I order a new motherboard and it still doesn't work, the graphics card was the real problem, it would have been 2 seconds to check if the graphics card was the problem but it took them two weeks and they didn't even do that. This place is a joke, don't fall for this actual crap of a repair

I usually don't write reviews, but the service I received from these clowns was so bad I had to let the public know. The owner Paul first said that he can have my MacBook screen fixed in a week. Three weeks later he finally had it fixed then within a week it cracked again just from opening it on my desk. Then when I finally got ahold of him after talking to his rude employees, he said there is absolutely nothing we can do to help you because we told you replacing the LCD wouldn't be as strong as replacing the entire screen.
If the screen wasn't going to be strong enough to gently open the laptop, they should have just told me to buy a new laptop because that's the same price as replacing the entire screen. Bottom line is they don't stand behind there work or advice one bit and I certainly will never trust their work or advice again.

I took my laptop there, they couldn't fix the problem but still charged me $50. Go to Phonadore in Orlando instead. They do a free diagnostic and fix your computer and give it back to you the same day, unlike these clowns that keep your computer for days only to tell you they can't help you and keep their $50 deposit for their "hard work" at fixing nothing.

Replacement Battery: I must say that everything went right to plan. They ordered the battery the day I picked up her notebook and I was given a status update the other day letting me know the battery was on its way. Today the battery arrived and I received a call letting me know to just stop by so they could install it. I ran by the house and picked up my wife's computer and it only took them about 10 minutes to have me ready to go. So far MY experiences with Palm Tree Computer Systems has been 5 Star and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Palm Tree Computing is awesome! I used them years ago in Oviedo and my experience then was so-so, but when my hard drive crashed last week I took it to their Sanford location and Jeff went over and above my expectations to get me back up and running again. It took some time, but I'm patient. Their rates were reasonable. I know what I'm talking about because I used to own a similar business years ago when I lived in New Jersey. I highly recommend Palm Tree Computing.

I took my IPad in the store with a cracked screen to be repaired. I was given a quote of $89 and put a $25 deposit down on the agreement. The anticipated repair time was two days. The next day they call to add $40 extra charges. When I asked just to have my IPad back in the condition I left it in, the employee said it was a tired of the way removed.

I picked up the iPad on the third and was given the bill totaling $115.00, not my quoted price. I asked the employee and he said that's the price. I was just tired of dealing with them and paid. I would never use them again! The final repair was not good. The on/ off is sticking and the glue it showing all over the sides.

I brought my PS3 to get fixed and left it with them. First, I had to pay a 20 dollar deposit just to drop it off. I did not really mind it but after a week I called them and they told me that they were not done yet. After 2 weeks later THEY STILL WERE NOT DONE! I decided that enough was enough and decided to get it back. When I got it back, they have not done anything!
They had not even began to fix it! I got it back and they did not even give me the courteousy to give me my 20 dollar deposit back. The next day I took my PS3 to UBREAKIFIX and they fully repaired it in one day. Im never going back to this place again.

This place is a bunch of lies and terrible. The owner Paul is very unprofessional and unable to take any form of feedback. I was quite displeased with the service I received and wanted it fixed. Without directly saying it, he basically called me an idiot and implied I had no idea what I was talking about. I work as a programmer for Apple and the only reason I brought my sons computer in is because I don't have enough time to do the upgrades he wanted and clean out the viruses. These people are DANGEROUSLY INEPT. Stay far away, they will drain your wallet with lies and unneeded services.
