I was a little apprehensive going to a computer repair shop. The people, especially Tom, put me at ease from the moment I walked into the store. They listened to what I wanted and explained everything to me in simple language, not tec talk. I was so satisfied with my first visit that I went back two days after. Just as great if not better experience the second time. If the owner is listening, you have a great employee with Tom! If I have any computer issues, I know where I'm going.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I have used numerous computer shops over the years and none have even come close to comparing. Most will charge outrageous prices to install hardware unless you purchase from them (so they can charge you way more then it costs) but not virtual pics, they charge the same either way. After having issues with starting my computer after having hardware installed they worked with me constantly, free of charge to get it working.
They were professional and courteous and very helpful. I honestly didn't even want a virus protection as I could do that myself but this company has been so amazing to me I decided to get there managed anti virus simply to help support the business, I have not been disappointed with that either if you are looking for a good honest computer repair shop, this is the place to go!

Great place to have a custom PC built. I also tried out their security antivirus and it works great. If something goes wrong with my PC it is nice to be able to call in to the store and talk with someone from my home town to get the problem resolved. I spend a lot of time on-line gaming, watching live streams, and searching web sites all at the same time and they built me a Gaming Rig that met all my needs! Whenever I need to upgrade my system this is my store of choice.

Several months ago I requested them to build a Cad computer with a list of requirements. Virtual exceeded my expectations. The Cad I need this for will crash often if the computer is not built correctly. They spent a lot of time to get the design right resulting in unprecedented stability. This is a fast, stable computer at a great price. Good communication and very helpful staff.

Virtual PC's was able to fix my computer for half the price of what another place wanted to charge for the same thing. Both gentlemen working there were very engaging and very knowledgeable on how to fix my gaming computer and even gave suggestions on how to increase its performance. When i brought my computer home and wasn't able to download one of my games, the technician was able to remote into my computer and helped me to do it. I will certainly be going back next time i need any computer help.

Gets just (1) star because I can't rate it any lower. Below is the complaint to Virtual PC today: Several years ago, when visiting Toledo for the holidays, I was in need of computer repair and a friend recommended Virtual PCs. I received GREAT service and was quite impressed, hence I later returned to your store for additional service, with which I again EXTREMELY pleased.
Due to the stellar reputation of your store and performance of your personnel, this past year, on December 31, 2016, I purchased a new laptop from your story. As a part of the purchase I paid for a data transfer from my old laptop. Unfortunately, something went wrong. What I do not know. However, when I picked up my new laptop immediately prior to leaving Toledo in early January of 2017--I stayed over to get the computer--the data transfer failed to preserve the E-Mails that I needed and had saved.
Nor was my address book transferred. As a result, I am @ a TREMENDOUS handicap since I now am not able to do much of the work I need to do. Please know that I called your store and asked to speak with the manager. I was given a 'runaround' and told 'Derek' would call me, which he did not do. I had to again call your store and ask for 'Derek' @ which time I was told nothing could be done about my issues.
From the tone of the conversations, I have absolutely no doubt I did not speak with the store manager as I had asked. Please understand that I realize nothing can now be done. I have intentionally held my comments until I can reasonable communicate them; however, I am most upset that I have not only lost my address book, but I have irretrievably lost EXTRAORDINARILY valuable E-Mails.
I am beside myself with; 1) the incompetence that cost me my data and 2) the way my issue was handled so the responsible employee(s) is not accountable for his/her actions. This situation leaves me with only one (1) course of action and that is; 1) to never again do business with Virtual PCs and 2) advise all my relatives and friends to never do business with Virtual PCs. That I fully intend to do.

We use Virtual PC's for all of our computer repairs, and troubleshooting problems remotely. They are EXTREMELY knowledgable, they are able to find and fix issues very quickly. They are prompt, I have never had to wait to get any problems addressed. And they are POLITE! They listen to their customers, and do a great job explaining issues and solutions.
To be perfectly honest, after doing business with Virtual PC's, I have no desire to go anywhere else. We have nearly 15 computers at our business, and they are all running great thanks to Virtual PC's.

I took my laptop in because it would not boot up properly. After paying $48 for diagnostics which I was told typically takes no more than 48 hours to complete I was told that I had a few viruses and that it would be done in another day. I waited two more days and finally received a call back saying that my computer is good and ready to go. I went to pick up the computer and the Virtual PC guys turned on the laptop and the computer kept on randomly restarting itself.
So they took it back and another 2 days elapsed before they called me and informed me that I had a severe virus on it and they are going to need completely wipe my computer. I was told that to completely wipe it, it would be an additional $25 and they would only charge $30 instead of the usual $50 to back up all my data. I gave the go to wipe the computer and on the 10th day I went in to pick it up.
The price of the wipe went from $25 to $69. I was so sick of dealing with these guys that I just paid it in full and took it home. When I got home and started checking to make sure everything was running right I learned that not all the function keys on my keyboard were working because they did not install the drivers for them. Also, I had a DVD inside the computer but that was no longer in my computer.
I called them and they said they would look for it and I am currently waiting to find out the end result of that. My speakers worked perfect and were crystal clear before I took it to Virtual PC's and when I got it back it sounds as if my speakers were blown and I can barely hear sound coming from them. There are other minor problems that I was luckily able to fix myself.
The end result, I will not be a returning customer to this shop nor will I recommend it. TEN days to remove a virus, charging me more than what I was originally told and a gamut of problems after a complete wipe. I recommend SAVING your TIME and MONEY and taking your business elsewhere.

My laptop started acting up so I took it to Best Buy (where I bought it and where I will never shop again.no wonder they are going bankrupt). The 18-year old behind the counter kept trying to upsell us the Geek Squad 3-year warranty. Um no. It was under the 1-year warranty so I wanted them to run a diagnostic test on it. They called back after a few days and said it was a hardware problem and it's not covered under warranty but if I bought the 3-year Geek Squad thing for $400 they could fix it.
For that much I could get another laptop, so no thanks (I only use it for the Internet). Disgusted with Best Buy a computer nerd we know highly recommended Virtual PCS. We took it in, the owner was great and told us so many of his customers come there because they get disgusted with Best Buy and their Nazi upselling tactics. He also told me that a waranty covers hardware and basically Best Buy tells people a load of shit to get them to spend more money. Virtual PCS did a great, quick and professional job. Not to mention an honest job. I had never been to an independently owned computer store before but am so glad I tried them out.
