Brought my Macbook Pro in and they instantly identified the problem, and alerted me to a warranty claim regarding my issue. they were super helpful in assisting me navigate that with Apple to have the repairs covered. the ordered the parts and had my computer back to me in less than 24 hours. I have a 2010 iMac with 4GB and want to buy memory and install it but some of the videos I found it looked extremely complicated to do including splitting it in half with a pizza wheel cutter! I called and spoke with a technician who told me that the mid 2010 iMac has a door on the bottom, just remove the screws and and swap out the the old with the new! Excellent service!

I would not recommend these people. They held my PC for a week. I called multiple times with my own phone. No answer. But when I used my wife's phone they picked up. Then they wouldn't answer her phone, but would answer my kid's. I finally drove there and picked up my computer (less the power cord). I wouldn't recommend them for anything.

Tried calling to make an appointment and ask a few questions regarding my work laptop, and the only response I could get was "Call from the parking lot". Sorry but I'm not driving 30 mins to your parking lot just to call you from there to ask my question. Literally just wanted to make an appointment and ask a couple basic questions regarding the repair, but the only response was just "Call from the parking lot". Nice way to greet a potential new customer.

Unbelievable Excellent Customer Service! I have a brand new laptop and for some reason the computer wouldn't power up and I was on a deadline for important school work. I took the computer and like other customers was waiting in line at my car as he was servicing people at their car because of Covid. When it was my turn he took my computer into store and came out 5 minutes later and it powered right up.

The pc has to be opened to get at the battery. When he took battery out and put back in, the pc turned right on. I was ready to pay and he said no charge because he didn't do anything or replace parts. How modest is that?!?!. I had to insist and gave money which he humbly declined but after insisting he took the money and was very grateful. I know where to go next time I need assistance with PC repair.

The people there are very helpful and even more importantly, HONEST. I brought my computer in because it wouldn't charge but he told me that I needed a new cord, and he charged my computer there for me! We also had a hard time migrating computers and he was very helpful then too.

I had an appointment to have my MacBook Pro repaired. I showed up 15 minutes late, but Fred didn't seem to mind. I explained the problem I was having with my computer. He helped me diagnosis the problem in about 2 minutes, told me how to fix it on my own, and didn't charge me a dime for his 20 minutes of time. It is interactions like this that keep me coming back to a business. Thank you Fred. I will surely be coming back with any future issues.

Honestly, drove all the way here and you have to call using the phone number posted at the door due to Covid. They didn't give me a heads up on cost. I was coming in for a Macbook Pro Battery Replacement for an early 2015 model. I would recommend going to an actual Apple store for repair. This location charges you for the battery and the labor. $250 for battery and $140 for labor. $390 is ridiculous for an older laptop.

My 2018 MacBook Pro had a swollen battery (and was out of AppleCare). These guys found an repair program from Apple resulting in the correction being covered by warranty. Would definitely recommend!

Late posting this - In Fall 2019, Fred (at Ricciardi Business Systems) upgraded my 2013 MacBook Air after an unusual failure of the SSD. Compared with Apple's quote, I got a much bigger drive (1TB), with faster turnaround (2 days!) and at a cheaper price. Still going strong a year later.

Make your own assessment; here are the facts: RBS, an apple "authorized service provider" took nearly two weeks with a needed repair for my MAC and couldn't get it done. They couldn't give estimates on what was needed or how long it would take. They then sent to Apple, who completed the necessary repairs in 24 hours. They also claimed that apple would not send the MAC directly back to me, which makes me suspicious about malware or other potential lingering issues. I'm on high alert and will head to an apple store as soon as they re-open to scan for remaining issues.

Brought my macbook pro here but the process was very slow and kinda uncommunicative. It took longer than they said, which wasn't too big of a deal for me, but when I went to pick up my laptop there were scratches all over the top of it that I KNEW weren't there before because I always have a case on my laptop (it was as if someone took a key and just keyed the top of my laptop).

I brought it to their attention and he didnt say much, just said that he'd check if he can replace it. He said he could, and told me I could go back the next day to pick it up. Next day, it wasn't ready because they go through a whole process where they send the piece to apple and have to get it approved, etc. (so don't know why he said next day to begin with). Anyways, moving forward that was about another 3 days until I got my laptop back.

No one really explained much to me when I came to pick it up. He probably said like 3 words to me. The only time he would talk is when I would ask him a question. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE THO- for some reason my repairs were completely free and covered by apple? So I was confused but I'm not complaining about that one. Overall they DID get the job done, it just was a slow process and they weren't super communicative during it. They seem to over promise and under deliver when giving you a time frame you can pick it up. That was my experience. It wasn't A+ but it wasn't horrible.

Fred diagnosed correctly what was wrong with my "older" macbook in about 5 minutes.after The Geek Squad failed for about 2 weeks and ultimately misdiagnosed. He was able to locate the part I needed quickly from Apple, and assured me that if Apple no longer made the part he could get from a 3rd party provider. Macbook up and running in less than a week(which included him ordering the part). I will use him from now on and refer all the mac owners I know to him. Very happy.

Great service, knowledgeable and fair. Fred went above and beyond and helped me out of a year old issue that he was uniquely qualified to fix. This man knows his Apples. And what he didn't know about what was keeping my Mac Pro from starting up, he researched and had the parts on hand to fix it. All that and a very reasonable repair bill, and now my 12 core Mac Pro is as good as new. I highly recommend this shop if you want your off warranty Apple products running for years.

Great team. very responsive. smashed laptop screen replaced in a couple days. they were very good at communicating the status of the screen delivery and called me when it came. i immediately went there with my laptop and they replaced the screen within minutes and charged me half of what i expected to pay. highly recommend! Really nice people but I think they're only best for quick help like logins etc. I left two Mac laptops on Monday with expected call by Friday. On Saturday went in and nothing really had been done. Had to take them and go to Apple Store. Problem now is I'm scrambling to get done by my trip on Monday. Go in for quick help but can't recommend leaving anything there. They're either overloaded or understaffed or both.

This place is absolutely great! I was told my hard drive was broken and I might lose everything (and of course I didn't have a back up), but my Mac book pro was fixed! And he set it up for me to complete the back up into an external hard drive! They explain what's going on very well and don't hesitate to answer all questions. I highly recommend this place!

This place was amazing. My $2,800 mac desktop was dead and missed Apple's "recall" for a bad video card by only 3 days. Fred's help enabled me to convince Apple to cover the repair and my added requests to upgrade the hard drive and others were quickly fulfilled and the computer is back and running like new again. They saved me from spending another $2800 on a new mac (and may have saved my marriage in the process) :-)

These guys are fantastic. We have taken a number of Macs to them over the year that Apple had deemed beyond repair. For a small fee Ricciardi have brought them back to life. They have also saved a crashed hard drive, fried circuit board etc. They are very honest and are not always trying to make a buck. Most recently when their estimate of what it would cost to fix a Mac approached the cost to replace they gave an honest assessment that replacing it is probably the better way to go.

No revenue for them, just an honest answer. They are courteous, professional, always provide timely updates and do not perform any additional work without approval. If Apple tells you your Mac is toast, check these guys out before laying out serious $ for a new one.

These guys move slower than molasses going uphill in January. Even simple repairs that might take them 15 minutes are put at the back of the queue. They don't do any type of triage (small quick repairs jump ahead of large, long repair projects). So you might have a simple problem, but will need to wait a week for them to even look at it because they are fixing some other guy's Univac computer from 1951.

It would be like pulling into a gas station and asking for a battery and being told "we'll get to it in a couple of weeks after we rebuild one guy's engine and do a complete exhaust job for another guy"

Took my MacBook there because it was running very slow. They checked it out while I waited and found nothing wrong with it. They recommended that I add more memory which they could do, or they explained that I could do it myself. Didn't charge me anything. Very very helpful and knowledgeable. These guys are great.
