There are all kinds of networks out there. Some work well, while others, not so much. We like to keep things simple which usually results in an reliable, efficient, and fast network. There are many parts to a network: usually a server, workstations, a router, switches, wi-fi access, Internet services, networked printers, shared storage, and so on.
Our personnel have decades of professional IT experience. We've worked as employees of large companies such as IBM, General Foods and North American Philips in Boston, New York City, White Plains, NY, and Poughkeepsie, NY. Our people are mature adults. Having been in the computer business for a long time has made us able understand how these things work, something you can't learn from a book or in a college classroom. We started Coastal Computer Systems in January of 1993, and we've never looked back.
