I brought my copier(Kyocera 1035MFP) to BBI on July 23rd because it was jamming paper every so often in the back of the machine; it otherwise worked perfectly. I paid $111.18 for the rollers to be replaced. I picked the machine up on July 31st and upon bringing it home it immediately began making a grinding noise which it NEVER did prior to the service.
I took the copier back and was told that is was most likely the fuser that needed to be replaced and that it would be another $250 approximately. They suggested that I use the machine until it dies The machine only has 122,000 total copies on the counter. As a teacher i use the copier for school. I took their word for it and took the copier back home thinking I could deal with the noise and just make copies for school.
Well in addition to the noise the copier yet again jams paper upon entry. The same problem I just paid for! I understand the machines are complex with hundreds of moving parts and perhaps in changing the rollers the fuser needed to be changed too. To make things worse I did a quick Google search of the new copier they pitched me (same model number) and found it for less almost everywhere online, $100 or more less! I am a small customer to these guys so my review won't mean anything but it's just poor service. I will be buying a copier elsewhere.

My printer died Tuesday night, i called BBI Wed AM, Jim was here by 2:00 to fix it. 15 minutes, in and out! And mine is an older HP printer, he came with the part(after my explanation of what was wrong with it) Worth fixing and not having to buy a new printer! And I'm a tax accountant so I needed to have this resolved ASAP. Would highly recommend, thanks so much Jim for your efficient help!
