They seem nice and I should say they were nice enough to take a look without charging me. I don't think they are bad people but it felt like the look over they did with my computer was more to appease me than to actually inspect. They had my PC for a maximum of about 3 minutes and said they couldn't get it to start. I got it to turn on when I got home.
I appreciate them talking with me but it seemed like the guy had his mind made up when I first called that he wasn't going to help. I think I would rather be told that, than go through this dog and pony show. Like I said, they are probably great people and maybe something I said led to that predetermined outcome. Left without a clear indication of next steps or malfunctioning part

I am a repeat customer at Vertex, but never again. I asked for a custom built computer, which I had to take back three times because it wasn't working as to my specifications and for what I ordered. The owner of the store actually yelled at me because I didn't follow his instructions. (Maybe I didn't, but that doesn't mean I deserved to be yelled at like he did.) Because of the poor work and even poorer customer service, I cannot recommend this store to anyone.

A1 service. A Windows 10 update went South on me. Froze up half way through. Didn't matter what I tried to do it would not complete the update or return to previous setting. I took my laptop to them and in less than a day they found the issue, fixed it, and was able to save all my files and programs! Awesome!

Needed a system re-installation. They did what I asked them to do, but damaged my battery compartment. The two clerks insisted that they did not have to take out the battery at all. In other words they denied the damages were done by them. There were significant and fresh breaches on the side of the battery department. I never tried to remove the battery from my laptop before.
But I had no other physical and definite evidence to prove that they did it. Eventually I didn't take any further action. I give them two stars because the system re-installation was good, but the fact that they were being dishonest and lied is upsetting me.
