Kevin was also elected a Jupiter Farms Board of director member in 2015.

Took an extra month and a half longer than expected, and cost me an extra $500 dollars than I was originally told it would. Very poor communication all around, with me having to call or go in person for updates. Also, for payment if using card, instead of using any vaguely secure method, they write down your card info. Also didn't complete all the repairs I requested, as I still left with a dysfunctional battery.
I regret getting service done here. In reference to the reply, I indeed watched my card info get written down in front of me. My original quote was $200, and it'd be done in less than a week. Then the total grew to $500 plus the earlier $200. I was told this would be done in about 2 weeks, and I needed the laptop back in 3. It ended up taking a total of a month and a half to get my laptop back. This is all I will adding, I'm not arguing in Google reviews, this was my experience, period.

I don't recommend this place at all. I dropped off my gaming PC a few weeks ago knowing exactly what the issue was. I suggested for him to clear-out and replace my GPU water coolant because it wasn't functioning and needed to be cleaned. He admitted to me that he didn't know how to do that and that he would just replace the entire part instead. After a few days, he called me back saying that he purchased the wrong part and would instead go forth with what I originally recommended him to do with a $30 dollar discount.
Although this was honestly extremely overpriced for the job that he was doing, I was willing to work with him and give him the benefit of the doubt just so that we could resolve the issue once and for all. When he finished the job, I took my PC home and it started to overheat within 5 minutes of use, which wasn't an issue prior to me bringing it in.
I then went back for a refund, which he agreed to give me, but after 10 days, I still haven't received it. After contacting him he mentioned that it's the credit card company's fault and that he isn't sure why I haven't been refunded yet. All in all, he destroyed my machine and never issued my refund.

I went in same day without an appointment due to my laptop getting wet from spilling water on it. Kevin (the owner) told me directly his expectations, the cost, and any questions I had. During the repair, he kept me informed along the way and even took the time to come after his shop closed to meet me to give me my laptop. It was a very nice gesture and I would recommend his company for anyone who needs laptop/cell repair.

Kevin not only responded to us super fast but fixed the problem in less than an hour. I thought my computer was fried forever and everything was lost but he fixed it all very quickly and saved the day. I highly recommend Driveguys for sure. Very quick and professional. 08/6/2018 Kevin has held to his word. Come to find out the issue was a miscommunication. Kevin was patient and diligent in helping me get the refund he had promised. Kevin held his word and got me my refund. Thank you Kevin. For now I must rate Kevin at the lowest possible rating. Kevin has had my laptop for almost a month and a half now. The last update was that he sent it off to another company.
He never called for authorization nor did he contact me at all. I have had to consistently call and follow up to find out the status as he never returns calls. I asked for a refund and my property back and have not been able to get a hold of Kevin since. If he returns my calls and.my property in the same manner I brought it to him in I will surely update and change this review.
For now. It seems he is scamming me for $600.00 but I will wait to see if he returns my calls. Update 7.25.2018. After 1 month of trying to obtain my hard drive Kevin had promised a refund of $420.00. I had to drive to his shop on Saturday to obtain my equipment and have been given a story about the $420.00 refund he has now lost. Kevin is refusing to respond to any emails or voice mails regarding a refund he owes and promised.
I've only asked Kevin to stick to his word and refund the 420.00 since after 2 months of holding my equipment was unable to salvage the memories or info. Kevin agreed to refund 420.00 and is now unresponsive. Be very careful dealing with this company and Kevin. My next course of action is to contact the Better Business Bureau as Kevin is no longer operating as a trustworthy business. Buyer be warned!
