Also, we are contracted to continue repairing White's detectors, both in and out of warranty, for the next few years. You can send in your unit for repair to either service center but keep in mind that the one closer to your location will arrive faster and cost less to send.

Most of you know White's closed their doors last August. A few months ago, Garrett purchased the name, patents and manufacturing equipment. As of now, they don't plan on continuing to manufacture any of the White's products. Centreville Electronics in Manassas and our sister company Centreville Electronics North West in Oregon are contracted to continue repairing White's detectors, both in and out of warranty, for the next few years.

Problems Report

My Detector won't turn on. Check your batteries or try a new pack. There are a number of problems resulting in poor battery contact such as corroded contacts in the holder. 2. My Detector won't ground balance. First thing to try is to move the search coil to another area. If you have a friend with a similar search coil try it in place of yours.

Great staff here dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. They serve as an east coast repair facility for White's metal detectors and they go above and beyond expectations to ensure things are done right. They repaired my V3i which had a minor issue and had me up and running in just a day or so. The repair technician is also a hobbyist and also knows lots about detectors and common issues. I also ended up purchasing an extra coil which was really priced below MSRP. Good to see a local business provide such good customer service.
