I have been a DCI customer for nearly 25 years and have never, ever had a negative experience. Their customer service and the entire staff at DCI is (in my humble opinion) A+++++! I have every confidence that they will be up and running soon and stronger than ever.

I have been a customer for over 10 years. DCI's equipment, parts and customer service are second to none. Their equipment line is innovative, dependable and well throughout. Their replacement parts are well engineered and reliable. Their customer service is outstanding and always there to help. If you are looking for a dental supply company with innovative and reliable dental equipment or parts, look no further. Keep up the great work DCI and thank you for so many years of spectacular service.

Sorry to say, I experienced the work of Dupont Computers as unreliable and incomplete with poor customer service. After diagnosing my 3 year old laptop (crashing with bsod) with a failed motherboard, they replaced the motherboard ($$$) only to have the system fail in the exact same way just 7 months later. Work was warrantied for only 30 days so I paid again for diagnosis.

This time they incorrectly reported that the hardware was fine and that the operating system (Windows 10) must be corrupted. I was skeptical but went forward, reinstalling the OS and restoring all applications and data, losing and spending a lot of time. Right away, the system began failing again in the same exact manner as before. The replaced motherboard is probably faulty.

At the very least, Dupont Computers' diagnostics were incomplete. Yet in both cases, they refused to accept any responsibility. I gave them several opportunities to "make this right" but they remained uninterested and at times defensive and even rude. Unless you know exactly what's wrong with your system and just need someone to do the work using parts you supply, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

I called them when I was having problems with my old computer and they made a house call. Did a great job getting it up and running -- quickly. Then I worked with them to choose, purchase, and set up a new computer (desktop + printer). They were very responsive and helpful. Picked up my old hard drive and took it back to their shop to copy the files onto the new system, which was crucial since we don't have a car. They answered all my questions and patiently overcame my worries. I think they're terrific. Will definitely call them in the future if I need computer help.

I am very disappointed of the total outcome of my visit. in the beginning I was told that whatever the problem was(since my computer could turn on),i t would cost 135$.I had a problem with my wifi. Then the next day they called and said it needs work so it will be 150$, and the day of the payment they said 185$ because they had to spend 5 min to download some drivers from the internet.

Well if i could do that i wouldn't have a problem with my wifi. They took advantage of my need to fix the computer because i am a student and i have assignments due and they took up the cost very high, at least for me. They were unwilling to assist with minor things that shows the lack of customer service and respect. There is no 0 stars so I have to give 1. They don't deserve 1 but what can we do. Never coming back of course. And also all these prizes on the wall they show, the most recent one is from 2005.

I'm amazed that this place has gotten good reviews, really. My laptop needs a new screen backing (the plastic back that people usually put stickers on), which goes anywhere from $70-120 on ebay or amazon. Dupont Computers quoted me $135. FOR LABOR ALONE! Are you freaking kidding me?! I can get certain parts of my car serviced for that much. Then they wanted to charge around $100 for the part. $135 to sit there and unscrew a laptop screen and replace it? I think not, Dupont Computers. You are ripping people off. I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground.

Honest, competent. Prices are good, knowledge of (at least the WinTel world) seems excellent, will tell you if something is not worth fixing.

Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Hard Drive recovery issue was beyond their capabilities but they referred me to another service that was able to do the job. Would return again for other needs.

These guys basically stole $50 from me. I took my computer in to have it looked at, and I was promised that within 24 hours they would do a diagnostic and that at that point I would have the choice to pay only a $45 diagnostic fee or else pay to have them fix the problem. After the diagnostic (which was not completed on time), my computer was simply working properly, so I expected to be charged only the $45 diagnostic fee. Instead, they billed me $95 for repairs, even though I was never given the promised estimate or even a proper diagnosis of the problem. I don't like being lied to or stolen from. Go elsewhere.

I'm an international consultant and have been using Dupont Computers for about a decade. It's always been a pleasure getting my laptops up to speed when I'm back in DC. I feel this small, personal company is a neighborhood jewel.

My Gateway had a meltdown after installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 - wouldn't start up at all. These guys did a great job repairing Windows. Didn't need to reformat my hard drive or recover any data. Well worth the money.

My toshiba stopped charging even when plugged in, which is a common problem among toshibas. I took it in and the guy was friendly and got back to me right away about having to replace an internal part where the plug in charger would go. It took about two days and cost $150.00' it's a steep price, but my computer is still working great and I got it back in no time. Beats paying $700-$1100 for a new replacement computer. I would go back for minor repairs.

I sent in a laptop to get a DVD drive replaced. I got it back with a new DVD drive and in reasonable time, but now it will no longer run on battery. It runs with the power adapter plugged in and the battery is 85% charged, but when the power cord is unplugged, it shuts off. Upon closer inspection, the bottom casing of the laptop was cracked because the tech failed to remove all of the screws prior to pulling the back off.

One screw was simply ripped through the hole. I called back to complain and I was told that the tech has 15 years of experience and wouldn't do that. He also said I should check the reviews because I'm the first person who has ever complained.

I've had them do repairs twice and they give first rate service: nice to deal with, they always follow up reliably with a phone call when giving an estimate or a repair. I highly recommend.

Horrible experience. Windows crashed and computer wouldn't reboot. Took it in to Dupont Computers and was told that the only possible solution was to reformat the hard drive and reinstall Windows. This isn't true. It's certainly the easiest, but there are tons of other possibilities that could save me having to re-install all my programs.

I offered suggestions and was willing to pay to try. They weren't interested. Very unfriendly service and unhelpful. (I can't say rude though). I came in personally to back up my data. They charged me $130 for the privilege of doing it myself. The price for a new power supply (I don't know why mine died in their shop) was fair, and the cost of reformatting and reinstalling Windows seemed reasonable. But overall a very unpleasant experience with non-existent customer service. I would rather drive 5 miles than use them again.

Our adorable but evil cat ruined our Dell laptop. With his vicious little claws, he gouged out the 8, i, o, j, k, l, m, comma, period, alt, and space bar. Then he chewed them. Then he played hockey with them. I had ordered a new keyboard from Amazon, hoping to replace it myself. But the instructions lost me with terms like "DIMM A memory module cover" and warnings to "ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap." I decided this was a job for professionals. Dupont Computers wasn't cheap - Our laptop was out of warranty, so the minimum labor charge was $95.

But they're convenient and professional. On our way to Lauriol Plaza around the corner, we dropped the laptop off. As our brunch check arrived, Dupont Computers called my cell phone to let us know the job was done. Easy! And the new keyboard looks and works great.
