We researched all the Shop Repair Software programs on the market and found that nothing compares to Shop Controller. Here are the key points: Shop Controller designed an integrated menu system that is organized and easy to navigate. This eliminates numerous separate popup windows that would have appeared all over the screen like some of the other software programs making it very confusing to use.
The Work Order section is the best we have seen and most important. All information is at your fingertips. When setting up a new service type in a work order, you enter the parts and labor for that service. This makes it easy to organize and follow. When printing out a work order, estimate or invoice, the parts and labor will then be listed by service type so you and your customers can see which parts were used and time spent for each service.
You can also include a lengthy description if desired for each service type. The layout can also be customized. Regarding Tech Support, you can submit a ticket online or call them up. The staff is a pleasure to work with and they go above and beyond to ensure the problem or question is resolved. The monthly fee is very reasonable for the power and versatility of this system. We highly recommend Shop Controller.

We opened a heavy-duty truck and automotive repair shop in 2014, and purchased Shop Controller as our software program to manage the business. We find this software, EASY to use and very FLEXIBLE, allowing for customization of our needs. After the program was installed, the staff was very accommodating with our training, and responsive to questions and any difficulties we encountered.
I am always in awe at the expertise of the programmers who had the foresight to design this program with features specific to this industry, including functions that serve as valuable management tools. Really Customizable and tailored to your needs. I was hesitant to go with Shop Controller because I am not their average client and I really felt my needs were too unique. I could not find any service software that met all of my needs. After a few months using the system I have to admit I could not have done better. They really customized the software to my business.
They helped me hide everything I did not need and even added a few custom features. I want to thank Steve, my account manager, for all his effort to make sure everything was up to my standards/requirements. It integrates perfectly with QuickBooks avoiding me a lot of double typing and saving me a ton of time. Their support is fast and they are always eager to help you. I would recommend Shop Controller to anyone who appreciates good customer service and need a solution that truly fits their business.

The people at ShopController are great to work with and very personable. The program is even better! Being a custom fire apparatus builder (and service center) we find our needs very unique and ShopController has helped us to meet our needs. I enjoy modifying the interface and reports and Steve is a great help leading me in the right direction. I have to throw Hyla's name out there, too! Thanks to all!

I have been using Shop Controller for almost a year now. Very user friendly, web based (no back-ups). I have never experienced the system go down, which keeps us up and making $. Doree and Hyla are wonderful. Great people and very helpful. Training was easy and havent had to call them for support since. Thanks also to Marshall and Nate for some customization work that we requested.
