John is the best person for the job. He was very friendly and determined in fixing my MacBook. My MacBook suffered water damage which affected the keys and motherboard. I called Apple and they said it would take a couple of weeks to repair due to COVID. I needed my MacBook laptop in a couple of days because I had assignments that were due soon. So I called John and it only took him a couple of hours. I was very amazed when I received my laptop the next day and that it looked so brand new. The best repair shop in the DMV honestly. Great service! I got same-day service. John bailed me out of a failing hard drive disaster in 24 hours. He is knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant, & has reasonable rates. I had a great experience. I spilled water on my MacBook Air and I was able to bring it in same day. It was fixed quickly and I was able to pick it up the next day. John explained what had happened inside the laptop and what my options would be depending on the extent of the damage prior to fixing it. The price was very fair and customer service was great. He's a very honest guy. I dropped my 2011 MacBook off because I was having start up issues. He diagnosed It as a battery issue and put replacement parts in It. Called me when It was available and we turned It off and on while I was there It worked. The next day I go to turn It on and I began having the same issues. I called him back and he told me to drop It back off.
I drop It off he did another diagnostic and turns out the entire motherboard is dead. Once he realized that he refunded me what I paid the day before because I decided to just buy a new computer. I really appreciate his prompt service and policies. If I ever have cpu issues again I would definitely be back.

Having your Ipad break during a shutdown and also civil unrest is a bit unnerving. I live in DC and traveled to UR Geeks to have my computer fixed. It ended up being more complex than anticipated (screen replacement instead of the motherboard) but John was professional and very fair about the price and service. Very thankful for his work!

John was able to fix my computer screen during the pandemic when all the Apple stores were closed. Although he thought it was the motherboard, he was fair about the price when it turned out to be something different. He is professional and a good person to do business with. This is the BEST Microsoft/Windows repair shop around!!! Last month, I accidentally spilled soda on my MacBook Pro keyboard. I quickly tried to wipe the keyboard clean of the liquid, which worked at first, but then the next day, my laptop developed "sticky keys". I tried to clean out the soda from underneath and put the keys back using DIY methods, but to no avail.
Throughout the last couple of weeks, I went to numerous repair shops, and they all told me that it was "100% impossible" to fix and repair. Well, after researching for some time, I found UR Geeks company. John did an extremely wonderful job in handling my device as he replaced my keyboard with a new one and new battery in just a few hours!!!!! I have had my MacBook for six years and now it is as good as new!!
And I didn't pay bogus prices or need to buy a new laptop!! God bless this man!!! He was so kind and nice. I recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much, John!!! You deserve the best.
