I actually did not start out interested in computers at all. I can still remember trying to write code in C++ back at Purdue University for a computer programming class that was required to take. I remember saying I hate computers. And to be honest, sometimes I still feel that way. The only difference is I'm making that statement through my customers eyes and experiences. I spent most of my mid 20's - late 30's selling security systems, satellite TV packages, and cable TV packages door to door. And before that I did a lot of telemarketing gigs. But, in the background, on my off time, I was tinkering with these pesky little computers. My first operating system was Windows 3.1 with a 66 MHZ processor. LOL, that takes me back. I found that I intuitively somehow knew what I was doing. As the years went by, I realized I was pretty good at this and decided to get my Certs. Like Dell or Apple began in the garages of their founders, PC Mobile Pro began in an upstairs room of our home. After much growth, we moved to Rio Rancho; where we currently reside and do business. PC Mobile Pro is made up of one main member: Josh Nelson, who is A+ Certified and Network+ Certified. I conduct my computer repair business out of our home. A retail location is very expensive and counter productive; given the fact that I come to your home to do onsite work when applicable or pickup your computer to do the work at my shop. We bought a pre-built gaming pc and started having crashing issues about a month in. We tried everything we knew to fix it, but the crashing persisted. We called Josh from PC Mobile Pro and he was able to pick up the same day. Within 24 hours he had diagnosed and fixed the issue, and had the PC returned to us. Great customer service! My laptop is old and was (I thought) on its last legs. I called Josh to see if there was an economical way to keep it going awhile longer. Josh cleaned it up, fixed some OS issues, installed a new hard drive, and boy, what a difference! He not only gave the laptop new life, I think it's working better than when it was new! Super fast fix! Josh picked up (yep! I didn't even have to leave my house!) and completed task and then dropped off lap top back at house same day, SAME DAY! Super professional and friendly, knowledgeable and super job! I called a few other companies before I found PC Mobile and not only were they nearly double (even more if I wanted a "rush" on it) in price, but they wanted to keep the laptop for over a week. I highly recommend Josh and PC Mobile!

Excellent and fast service. I called Josh on a Wednesday and he picked up my laptop at my house the same day. He called me a couple hours later and explained what he could do to repair and gave me a quote. He was finished with my laptop the next day and dropped it off at my house. Josh was friendly, professional and the service was quick and convenient. I didn't even have to drive anywhere to drop off my laptop which is a huge time saver. Don't hesitate to call him. Let me begin by saying I've been building my gaming computer and upgrading since 2016 myself. Ran into an issue that had me stumped, and a hectic work schedule left me completely unavailable to troubleshoot everything. I was really hesitant to allow someone else to work on something I put in so much time into but Josh was amazing. I called him about the issue and he was on the same page about all the issues immediately and even offered to pick it up the same day which he did. Turned out it was a MOBO going bad was not reading my RGB fans or FTW 3080, and it decided to do it after I moved my setup to a new case with a ton of RGB and non RGB fans.
He was able to diagnose it within a day and offered to upgrade it, defaulting to me choosing the motherboard since he didn't work on gaming computers as often. (This is something I really appreciated). Motherboard came in late but he was able to accommodate since I was going out of town and had it done within a day. I give Josh 5/5 on everything, he communicated often, did a phenomenal job and I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my PC ever again. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, even sat around at the end to talk about the motherboard. i9 9900K on Aorus Elite, 32GB 3600, EVGA 3080 FTW.

This is truly one of the best experiences for repairs by far! I never have good luck when it comes to electronics. Josh came and picked up my computer the next day. I didn't think there was any hope for my macbook pro to get fixed but Josh was able to get it. He came and dropped off my computer the next day and showed me all the systems and how it was good to go. My computer is working like its brand new out of the box, I couldn't be happier. His price are very reasonable, I would highly recommend.

The idea of someone going to your house to pickup your broken PC is unique and awesome. Josh is incredibly responsive. As a person that usually knows how to fix PC issues I was stumped on an issue I had building a new computer. I was not to keen on having my pc worked on because in the past (with other PC fix places) things wouldn't be done right or would be done sluggishly.
I worried, but within a day he fixed the issue no problem. Josh also has vast and impressive experience with computers ranging from as far as I know the 90s to high end gaming computers of today and it showed because he passionately spoke about the different things he worked on. Would not recommend someone else to work on your computer.

If you want to give him money for free hire him. He said he wanted to diagnosed the problem and get back with me, once he took my computer, he called me and told me my computer screen was the problem but I could use a different Monitor to use the computer in the meantime. He then told me that he was going to charge me $65 for the diagnostic. Something that he failed to mention at the beginning of our transaction.
I expressed him that I thought it was a very heavy price for just turning my computer on. I decided to pay him anyway, he return my computer. After I tried plugging it into a monitor, the computer will loop around into the HP logo. I called him about it, he told me he was busy and he was going to call me the same night. At 9:30 PM I text him and he said he was gonna call me at nine in the morning But he didn't call me again so I had to call him Then he was extremely rude When I expressed to him that he diagnosed it improperly.
He started shouting at me saying he Wasn't going to be manipulated by me and that he was going to charge me more money if he was to look at it again. I ended up taking the computer to another computer Fix business, they diagnose my computer for free, and they told me that the screen was not the issue was the matter board that was not functional.
They tested the screen and it worked perfectly, they showed me. So he charged me for NOTHING plus was extreamly rude instead of trying to listen to my concern he was being so disrespectful. Don't waste your money and time please.

Our experience was similar to the first (and the only) review here. I went to the home based PC Mobile Pro after seeing the excellent google rating. He is a nice guy buy not very knowledgeable. Initially agreed to recover lost data completely but did not retrieve any sensible, usable files. When asked about it, he was upset, got mad, argued that he never said that he could get "all" the data as he did not have time for that and also collected 100% payment which was $130. Lesson learned: I am not going to trust google ratings hereafter. And most certainly will not go back to PC Mobile Pro again.

Friendly and personable, Josh is a pro at what he does; the whole process was fast and painless. I had my Yoga 3 Pro back in less than five hours, which involved the transfer of disks, SSD installation (for twice the GBs), and transfer of disks to the new hardware. He even went so far as to "move some things around" for optimal storage space. The cost of his service is more than fair and quite reasonable. I'm very pleased to say the least and it's a good feeling to have a tech I can rely on!

Josh was very personable and responded quickly. My uncle is having issues with loading, reading, and writing emails. It is VERY slow, and there is a lag when he types emails. Josh looked at his computer and said it is not a fast computer due to the hardware, but that for my uncle's use (he primarily just uses his computer for email), he should see an improvement after a tune-up.
He paid $145.00 for the tune-up and installation of Vipre anti virus. We agreed that Vipre would be installed since it was part of the $145 cost ($145 was a $20 discount off regular cost of $160). There was ABSOLUTELY NO IMPROVEMENT. We reached out to Josh about changing out the hard drive at no additional cost in an effort to do right by a customer.
He explained he wouldn't do this because of his cost. He said the hard drive would b $100, and he would discount the cost to clone the hard drive, it would be $50.15 instead of $59. My uncle decided not to spend any more money on PC mobile. He felt he had already wasted $145.00, so to end up spending nearly $300 on his computer without having the confidence it would improve was not a wise move. Also, and this is not an issue I brought up to Josh, but I had him look at my computer because there was a buzzing sound when I turned it on, and I was worried it was going to crash.

I initially took my computer to Dr. Dan's because I had the black screen of death. It wouldn't respond to anything. After it was diagnosed with a bad motherboard, I was advised to buy a new computer. I called Josh and he came to pick up my desktop, along with my laptop (because of other issues). Guess what? I didn't need to replace my pc! Josh was very thorough and returned my computers with a short turnaround. I also initially tried troubleshooting my pc over the phone with a tech savvy friend with no luck. After PNM had a power outage, Windows 10 was corrupted on my PC. I was concerned that any fix would require downloading apps that did not come with the PC. Not only did Josh come and pick up my PC, he completely restored all functions, fixed 3 virus problems I was not aware of, installed a whole new and better backup system, and cleaned up the whole computer so it runs faster.
