I've had my laptop for 6 years now and while I was using it yesterday, the screen just turned black. It was the first time it happened and I really don't know what to do. My mom gave it to me as a graduation gift, and I don't have the heart to just dispose of it and buy a new one. It is really special to me. I took it to a lot of computer repair shops, but all of them just said it could not be fixed.
And when I was about to give up, one of my colleagues suggested this shop to me. It was my first time at Pro and they gladly accepted the work. I was told that they would call me once they found out what the problem was. They did not call me for that! They called me to tell me that they had already fixed it. I was so happy and impressed at the same time at how quickly they fixed it. I checked it and my laptop was as good as new. I definitely recommend this shop.

My go to tech professionals for years. They are EXCELLENT and I wouldn't let anyone else touch my computer. This review is old so I want to revisit it. I still rely upon Pro Technology and I have to say that I believe they have gotten even better with time. I don't know of any place that provides better service and I have not been tempted to go anywhere else since I found them. I popped in last week and they were so helpful and accommodating. They are the place to go for technology services.

My laptop took a dive. Overwhelmed by so many different repair shops I chose PRO for their positive reviews, longevity, and proximity. I've only used "big box" computer repairs in the past.not impressed. I was very pleased with my experience at PRO. Professional, competent and fair. Everything was explained clearly and the work was completed in a timely matter. My laptop is now running like a champ. Thank you!

Very friendly service! Took my computer in for a their free check service to see what was wrong with it and the guy there was very nice! Took good care of my computer and told me exactly what was wrong with it and what was the best way to fix it. If you ever have any computer needs, this place is definitely the place to go.

I took my PC in because I was afraid that I had lost data. Almost magically, the technician was able to access 2 programs that I couldn't open at home so no repair was necessary. They didn't charge me for the 20 minutes the tech spent with my PC and he couldn't have been more helpful. He also suggested something we could do to make the machine faster and we will contemplate that. All in all. I will use this company again should we need their services.

Not only did they provide fast, friendly, and reliable service, my laptop is faster than ever! They took my old super slow windows 7 operating system and upgraded it to a super fast Windows 10 operating system. Additionally, they replaced my failing hard-drive with a solid-state-drive that rivals any new product in the market today. That saved me hundreds of dollars. I plan to let them upgrade my PC next. It's like getting a new computer for a fraction of the price.

I had an issue with my laptop I needed to a repair shop close to my house. Found pro computers and saw there great reviews, I took it over there and they where great they give you free estimates a lot of laces charge for estimate . Suran tech associate was very helpful and honest in what they could do to resolve my problem. He called 1 1/2 days later gave me my options and told me what he recommends wasn't pushy gave me time to decide what I wanted to do.
After I decided he even gave me a discount on the repair price after I told him money was tight cuz of covid . That was great quality honest work without hidden charges is rare these days and even got a discount. They get high marks need computer work go see them

Had an issue with a brand new Mac Mini. After 3 weeks of no functioning computer, multiple visits to the store with the "geniuses" and a 3 1/2 hour phone call with that fruit-based computer company I decided to contact PRO. I got an email response within a few minutes with a couple of suggestions to try to fix my issue. When that didn't work, I brought my computer to them and it worked fine in their store so I set up an appointment for someone to come to my house and figure out why it wouldn't work in my house. Tech Casey came within a few days and spent 2 hours figuring it out.
He made sure I was convinced it worked before he left. The cost was reasonable. And the stress relief of having a working computer (and printer/scanner) is priceless. If you are a Mac person, you know that there are few techs that know Macs. These folks know their stuff. Highly, highly recommend.

A few years back I took my macbook to them because they were close by. They did great and extended my macbook's life a few years. Today I had a problem with my Mac Pro and called them. Casey patiently heard me out and gave me a suggestion that worked. Thank you. So, I'd spend an hour and a half each way on the CTA ,if I had to, to take something to them.

Lenovo Yoga 910 stopped working one morning- took it to geek squad and had it looked at, was told it'd be upwards of $600 to get it sent out, tested and "repaired" over a one month period minimum. I found PRO on yelp - reviews were great and rightfully so. They responded to an online inquiry within a couple of days, finished the FREE diagnostic testing over the weekend and called me up with some different options. PRO handled everything quickly, efficiently and with care. I will come to them with any future concerns. Thanks guys!

Went to the Andersonville location to have a newly built PC diagnosed. Initial phone call inquiring about services was extremely friendly and helpful. In one business day they fixed the PC, and also did a great job organizing all the cables in the unit. I received a very comprehensive invoice afterwards pointing out every issue that was found and fixed. Great service and attention to detail. Very reasonable pricing and great staff, I would recommend this place to anyone.

I took my MacBook Pro 15" laptop with retina display in for a screen replacement. I was so disgusted with myself for having cracked it in the first place. I'm happy to say they replaced my screen with an OEM replacement part and saved me hundreds of dollars. I dropped it off on a Tuesday night and it was ready for pick on Thursday. Looks and works great!

What can I say I was in a bind after breaking my flash drive with Five years of work on it. After toiling around and people telling me it was impossible I finally got a hold of PRO Chicago and they were fantastic. I dropped off it in Chicago and two days later they had retrieved all my information and were able to email it to me so I did not have to drive back to Chicago. Everyone from the call center to Florian were outstanding and definitely went above and beyond what I could have expected. I am forever indebted. Thank you guys so much.

These guys are lifesavers. They are also honest, good communicators, and quick to respond. When my computer was damaged due to a liquid spill, they got to work quickly and kept me apprised of the progress. I got my computer back and noticed one thing that worked differently than it had before the repair, took it back and they immediately fixed that too. The price was reasonable too. I'm super pleased these guys are in my 'hood and plan to recommend them and use them again if I need further help.

I am so happy and grateful to have found the guys at PRO Technology. They are close to my small business and always responsive when we call. They helped us migrate from Google for Business to Microsoft 365 for email, document storing, etc. and also buy some new computer equipment that was needed at a good price. I'd been putting off replacing the keyboard on my MacBook pro (after an unfortunate wine spill) for months, thinking it would cost about half a month's rent (plus the added inconvenience of going without a computer for a few days). I took it to PRO on Monday morning, was called with an estimate within two hours, and had it back in my hands by the end of the day, having paid far, far less than I'd anticipated.
