Rick the technician in charge is a dishonest person. He took from me $74 but never fixed my computer. He claimed that it requires a mother board but he does not trust his own people. I found a mother board I agree to pay him another $60 plus the cost of the motherboard but he wanted me to order the mother board and give it to him. I believe that he in the business to order the parts and not me. Do not go to him to have the computer fixed. You will spend the money and get nothing in return.

I been going to Fusion Computer since 2009-2010. When I had my Dell Latitude C-640 repaired with them. I remember that the computer was slow and after I had it repaired it was a little faster than before. So thanks again Fusion. Sorry about the other comment. I already took it off. And hope to do business with you guys in the near future for my computer repairs. Cause I can't find no other computer repair shops around.

I give them a zero if I could. This is a copy and paste from their website: The Lowest Prices Guarantee We always offers you "The Lowest Prices Guarantee" on repairs labor, You just pay$39.00*repair labor. If you find a lower price at any Local computer store, we'll give you 50% of the difference. there is No Reason to go anywhere else. That's right, no hourly rates here! we have what you need at the fixed prices ($39) you can afford.
They charged me $69 for a diagnostic and claimed that it was payment for labor. When they determined it was the motherboard, their quote was $225 for a refurbished motherboard. I found a new one for $180 at Newegg. When I picked up the computer and asked why I was charged $69 instead of $39, I was told that was on Wednesday only. WTF! Where does it say that?
In fine print I'm guessing. The technician that called me seemed to be ok, he answered my questions, but the guy up front that takes your money is not nice. I watched them charge the returning customer in front of me and extra $5 for using his credit card and when he called them on it, they took it off. So basically, if the can get away with it, he'll charge you as much as he can. I'd find another place

One of the worst and most dishonest companies I have ever dealt with. I bought a Groupon for a $99 laptop repair, but when I went to use it later that week Fusion refused to accept the Groupon telling me that they no longer participate in Groupon (although they continue to sell the same Groupon offer to this day.) They offered instead to diagnose and do the repair for a flat rate of $69 plus parts that would be about $80 to which I agreed.
After several days they told me that the parts would be around $280 and would take several weeks to get, plus $100 per part to install. I should have walked out the door when they refused to honor the Groupon that they are continuing to sell. It is sad to have to deal with dishonest businesses like this.

I can't really understand the bad reviews here. I have been bringing my personal and business computers here for at least 10 years. Brent and his team have been fantastic at repairing and providing guidance, and excellent pricing on new machines. There is one person in the office who is a little gruff, but who cares. They do great work at extremely fair prices.

Very rude customer service. My husband had an awful experience about 5mon ago. We agreed never to return. The staff is just so cold and emotionless. Ended up taking my computer to a place in signal hill and got it back in about 7-8 days. I just went to go back to show them that it was fixed and tell them the positive service I had at the other place but, it looks like they're close down. Oh well. I guess customer service wasn't their specialty

This place seems to be stuck in the past. First, their advertising is a little fraudulent, the cheap repair is on Wednesdays only. 60 dollars to just look at it otherwise. Second, they, despite selling Dell Optiplex machines, do not seem to realize that these use OEM Windows licences which are tied to the motherboard. This should be known by a PC repair store as the official Dell site has this very clear what will happen when you replace the motherboard. https://www.dell.com/community/Windows-General/Reinstall-Windows-10-after-motherboard-replacement/td-p/5683516 Thus when they told me that I would need a new motherboard, they did not ever, in any way say or infer that there was even a possibility that the windows 10 licence would not work. Said motherboard cost 172 dollars, which is more than buying another Optiplex from Amazon.
For the motherboard. Now I was the fool who was having sunk cost getting to my head and I paid it, but it is very clear that this place did not even attempt to discuss with me if it was even worth it at all. Their confidence on getting it to work, as I tried to display my concerns was annoying. To their credit, the computer DOES work now. They know how to fix the hardware at least.
Which is why they get 2 stars. If your computer isn't an OEM then you will likely have a better situation than I did. However, they do seem to live in the past, as they didn't even think this would be an issue, and they were concerned with me leaving with Windows 10 not being activated, even though, while annoying, it will not brick the system like they said it would. https://www.windowscentral.com/you-do-not-need-activate-windows-10 Windows 10 has been like this since launch, in 2015.
While it is true that older versions of Windows did this, it does not do so for Windows 10. After a bit of a disagreement, they did offer to install it at a discount, a 100 dollar fee instead of more, but I was not going to pay more money for this service. Their website says "Trust a Licensed (E 83626) Established Computer Repair & Retail Store" Maybe they need to get it renewed, as 2006 computer software is different from 2019. https://www.fusioncomputerusa.com/ Overall I am just disappointed. If this did go down well I would have asked them to get my fingerprint reader to work on my laptop but I am willing to just not have it work than to come back here.

Terrible, terrible business. Went off of Groupon which they did not honor. They use it for marketing and scamming. I wanted the keyboard replaced, but they insisted it would cost more than my computer was worth and encouraged me to back up the hard drive to an external drive. When I later opened the drive, I found that they did not back it up, as they charged me, just put the drive in a case.
But they charged me for a new drive, the cheap external drive (which I later found for $10 that they horribly overcharged me for) and the associated labor. Very condescending and apparently unethical.

Pleasant customer service, they even carried my desktop to and from the car. They did a clean installation of new ssd hard drive and windows 7 and completed in 1 day. Service price of $39 is a bargain but they do make some back with 100% markup on the hard drive over local electronics store but still a moderate total price in today's marketplace. Unfortunately after the upgrade they were unable to get my video cards running.
My display was working on one of the dual cards when I turned it off to bring the computer in. After testing the cards, tech said that the motherboard was bad and would need to be replaced if I wanted to use the video cards rather than the integrated graphics. This seemed strange to me so after some research on the internet, I found a copy of the motherboard manual and was able to adjust the BIOS settings so that the video cards worked. I seriously wonder about the technical expertise of computer techs who do not think of the BIOS before recommending a motherboard replacement.

I should of read the reviews :. The Groupon is a scam. Horrid customer service. I feel totally taken advantage of and insulted. Here's the story: my daughter broke the charger input on her Levano chromebook. I am software savvy but not so much when it comes to hardware. I looked up computer repair places on Groupon & they had a good deal, $25 to consult & that $25 will come off the repair bill. Figured it couldn't be much more than $50 to replace a charger port.
I was wrong. Got charged $50 for the part plus $8 for shipping/handling which took 7 days. For an avid amazon user that was ridiculous. I looked up the part & it was $11 with prime shipping. Then charged $95 for the labor. They were completely unwilling to work with me on the price but refused to give me back my computer until I had paid $49 for the consultation.
They said my Groupon was not going to be honored. They said they would take the $49 off if I had the repairs done. So basically they scammed me for $104. The computer only cost me $120. Again, ridiculous. It's was completely ridiculous and they were real A-holes. Luckily Groupon refunded my money on that front which is why Groupon is the best

I've been going to Fusion Computer for years now. They were recommended to me by a friend. I trust word of mouth referrals more than any ad- Sorry Yelp, I think your wonderful, I'm just saying. If you need repairs go there. They make excellent recommendations for things that may also help you out. They have never tried to sell me anything I didn't need. Debbie

Besides the excellent service, and knowledgeable staff, they are honest. Being a computer illiterate, I really value doing business with an honest business. I trust them when they say I need a new component or service. They answer all my questions. A friend referred me to Fusion about 8 yrs ago. i won 't go anywhere else.

I was heading to this trash piece of garbage place to buy a hdmi for my computer so I parked where it said parking only for fusion computer and I was about to walk and the owner of the store said "don't even think about it" and walked back inside! i don't know what he meant by that but it was just plain rude! and he totally lost me as a customer. I have no idea why he told me not to go into his store! NO ONE GO TO THIS PLACE. There are better places, trust me. RUDE AND DISCRIMINATORY!

Where do I start? They had me wait 7 months for my laptop repair and when I picked it up I was so caught up with listening to the man Brandon tell me about how my 'wirelass card'on the old motherboard was not working so they put a wireless adapter on one of the usbports He was showing me how the internet worked put on YouTube whatever I get home turn it on open a sticky note and what do I see behind the sticky note a deep scratch! call them to ask them why the heck does my screen have a scratch and they ask what are you talking about totally denying the fact they damaged my screen then once I started using the laptop my volume knob isnt working either!
Now it makes sense why they would offer to sell me a 'better laptop' every time I would call to check the status on the repair wow My laptop was not cheap at all and for them to not own up to their damage is horrible service 7 months before I received my laptop! and they couldn't own up to this I was patient enough to wait that long horrible service They really need to care more for their customers I wouldve respected their business more if they own up to their damage I do not recommend this place to anybody

During the peak tax season, my mother board went out. I took it to Fusion Computer and they had it fixed within 2 days and very reasonably priced. One of the very best computer repair experiences I have ever had and I happily recommend them to anyone who needs assistance. They will get ALL of my business from now on. Thank you Fusion!

***STAY AWAY! RUDE AND DISREPECTFUL OWNER!*** Went in to get service on my iPad. The tech was good and was able to fix it. However, when it came time to pay, the owner got angry when I swept my credit card when the machine clearly said "SWIPE CARD". He yelled, "Not yet!" When I pointed out what the machine said, he flipped the credit card machine over and went crazy.
He crumpled up the invoice and then screamed the F-word at me! I have never in my life being treated so poorly or disrespected like that! And over what? All because I swept my card too soon! I cannot believe a place like this is able to stay in business if this is the customer service they provide. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE! THERE ARE MANY OTHER COMPUTER REPAIR STORES THAT ARE NOT OWNED BY A CRAZY PERSON!

STAY AWAY! I took our Microsoft Surface here because it wouldn't connect to our WiFi suddenly. This was after we tried a factory reset. They quickly diagnosed the issue as updates we weren't getting notified and fixed it. So far so good right? I pick it up and when I get in the car I see 2 stickers on my Surface. One is their internal tracking number and that comes off easily.
The other is a metallic one that says "warranty void if removed". Since all they did was update software I begin to peel this off and see the words "void" staying on my machine! Not cool! So I look at the paperwork and it has a 3 day warranty on all work. This means I get a semi permanent sticker on my machine?!?!? My wife calls to inquire and the guy tells her everyone gets one.
She asks how to remove it and he says he doesn't know. She says she'll bring it in and he can remove it and he says "don't come back". So I won't. And I recommend no one else go here if you care about semi permanent stickers on you device. The service was fast but the rude lack of customer service had me looking elsewhere for work in the future. STAY AWAY!

Took my laptop there for service and the worker barely acknowledged me, he was too busy watching tv, not kidding. Got there 15 minutes before they open, but their door was open. The guy didn't even say hi. Just said "whatever you have, just leave it on the counter". He turned back around and continued watching tv. Uhh, yeah, hell no. I told him that I'd like to talk to somebody about my laptop, and he said, "yeah, I'm not open yet". No thanks. I'll find anybody else, someone cool, and proud to be in Lomita.

A bit expensive, but not as much as it could have been. The staff was helpful and quick to resolve my problem. For that I am thankful and very pleased. I am happy overall and would recommend these folks if you have a problem that you cannot solve. They were very quick and responsive to my need of having it back asap! I would suggest that the first time charge be $59.00 and then repeat customers get the loyalty/return rate of $39.00 instead of the other way around.
That would definitely make me come back and they would get ALL of my computer business -- laptops and desktops. They do offer repair plans, but the $100.00 plus I spent tapped me out this go round. I know others are more expensive, but these guys should consider my idea. I do suggest you give them at least consideration. Honest, communicative and helpful -- they did make me feel better about the life of my plastic and silicon box!

For me I was happy with service. They have helped me many times, went beyond basics, helpful. If you read some reviews.it doesnt seem like the same shop. I have brought over 12 computers in and had no problems. No one likes to pay for repairs but I thought it to be fair and reasonable. They even did a trick repair that didnt work first time and no problems on 2nd go around. As far as hard sales or pressure-have not experienced it. Quality knowledgeable quick repiairs. I have even taken in Macs and I bought a PC here too.

Warning to stay away from this shop. The service has gone down hill 8n the last few years and they are not reliable about diagnosing issues. Their staff is horrible at communication and they take 2-3x as long to just look at a computer as other companies. I suggest taking your desktop or laptop to another repair shop if you want quality service.
