Growing up here on the Central Coast of California, I took an interest in PC's at age 12 when my dad brought home one of the first color personal computers, a Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer.At age 19, I enlisted in the United States Navy where I devoted eight years as an electronics technician servicing the fire control radar systems found onboard the F-14A Tomcat fighter jet.
In 2003, I earned a vocational certificate as an Information Technology Service Professional with additional certifications as a CompTIA A+ and Network+ Technician.
In 2004, I became a California State licensed vocational instructor teaching a wide range of computer classes where I discovered an ever increasing need for honest, professional in-home computer services at a fair price.

I contacted John via phone and explained my problem(s). He was does only in-home/business repair, so he scheduled my diagnostics for a couple days later. When he showed up and got on my PC, he immediately found some viruses/Trojans and said he'd take the computer home and return it in a couple days. In said couple days, he returned my machine and I was genuinely impressed with the way the computer performed.
He explained what he did and why, including getting rid of many programs I never used that started up when the computer was turned on. And ridding the software of a few viruses he found. This sped up the initial start-up dramatically. Then, when I went to a website, it was on the screen in an instant! I cannot get over how much faster the computer works, and for a very inexpensive amount of cash outlay.
He told me the diagnosis was free, and I didn't have to pay until AFTER he did the work and showed me the final product of his work. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate finding someone who is honest and can be taken at his word, and does what he says. John is a fine tech and I'm lucky to have just happened upon him online when my computer started acting badly.
I couldn't find ANYONE who'd do a diagnostic check without paying at LEAST $69.95 just to look at the thing, and I'd have to drag the machine into their place of business. AND pick it up. He came from Arroyo Grande/Grover Beach to Los Osos to look at it and take it home, then drag it back here. I guess I could go on and on, but in essence, I received outstanding treatment and service from John Jones and Computer Repair Expert!
