I am a small business owner who began working from a home office after the onslaught of the pandemic, but I maintained my business premises in downtown Salem anticipating I would resume using that space when it was safe to do so. When that time arrived, I decided to upgrade my PC and install docking stations in both locations to give me the flexibility of working in either location as I wanted to continue the use of my home office as well.

I wanted someone with expertise to make the decisions, so I researched IT people and picked North Shore IT. John L. answered the phone and we met the next day at my home and formulated a plan that I was comfortable with and that worked within my budget. John picked the laptop, screens and docking stations and I like all of his choices. The install went extremely well and thus far it has been smooth sailing. John is accessible and explains technology in a way that the layperson can understand it. He made good suggestions and I would highly recommend his services.

John was an extremely capable and honest tech. Good quality work. Dealt directly with Comcast setting up wifi for my house (a difficult old house). That alone was enough for me to recommend him. Worked hard, kept his promises. Very pleased with his work. Not inexpensive but first class work.

Great experience with NSIT getting my older "but still very good" laptop fixed up. it was full of viruses and needed more storage. I was not equipped to handle trying to fix it myself. John knows his stuff! Very happy to have him come in and setup my work laptop and printer. It works much quicker and the printer actually prints!

We moved from one office to another. Comcast came in and set us up. Unfortunately, they didn't get our computers up and connected with our business in California. John came in and with in a couple hours he had all of our computers, phone lines, etc up and running with no issues. He was a life savor.... We have now taped his card to our modem so that if we have issues in the future we know who to call...

John straightened out a lengthy list of computer problems for our household, and upgraded our hard drive and monitor. Our computer is working better than it ever has. He also set up some backup systems for 15 years of digital pictures, eliminating our anxiety about losing them if the computer was ever damaged. John was extremely fast to respond to my initial request for services. We setup a completely new invoicing system and purchased a new computer and additional monitors. He helped walk me through all the steps I will be using with new software. I was very happy with everything. John explained everything in great detail making it very easy to understand the new software. I am super impressed with everything he did and would recommend his services to anyone.

I had been holding my breath in hopes the computer would get us through another billing cycle. I was looking for someone that I could call and clean up our computers and keep them maintained. Basically be our computer doctor and my husband and I are thrilled he is there for our computer needs.

John at North Shore IT has been a great resource for us. He set up a system so that our wireless Internet access works well throughout our large old 3-story house with multiples devices and users. He also set up wireless printing from all if our devices. The system worked great for a long time. Then one day our wireless access went down. We called John and he responded quickly.

He came over to troubleshoot the problem and discovered a piece of equipment had failed. He was able to get a replacement that same day and we were back up and running a few hours later. I would highly recommend John at North Shore IT to anyone. He is knowledgable, friendly, and very responsive.
