Mentzer Repair is a great place to go for any kind of technical trouble. They've always been able to help me with anything for very reasonable prices. Today they helped me with a problem with a phone connecting to its cord at no cost. Very honest people!

Tim was professional and honest when working on my old TV/VCR unit. He charged a $40 bench fee for taking a look and when he found it was not able to be repaired, I asked him to dispose of the unit for me. There was no extra charge for that. He worked in a timely manor and was patient and kind in all of our conversations. I would recommend Mentzer Repair Services in Ephrata PA

They were efficient and did what they said they would do. I will be taking my other computer to them to work on that one as well. They're hours are not that good in my opinion but they did a great job!

We have had phones fixed here and now our computer. It's always a great experience. We are pleased with the price and service. They communicate with you through the whole process.

Our Wii stopped working and he was recommended by our local game store. Tim offered a free estimate and ordered different parts to try to fix the problem. He called me at every step of the process and didn't charge me for any of the parts when they did not work. Ultimately he declared the Wii dead and unable to be fixed but would not accept payment for his time and services. Tim was friendly and professional and I recommend him to anyone.

I have been so impressed with the service and expertise provided by Ephrata Computer Repair. Steve quickly and accurately transferred the data from my old computer to a new one - when Apple said they didn't have the capability to do this. In addition, he told me to call if/when I had questions about my new computer which I have done several times. my questions always answered perfectly! This business is a true GEM and I highly recommend it to others!

Tim is very kind and professional. He takes his time to work with me and help me understand all my computer issues. Highly recommend their services. I don't know much about computers, when I ask Tim he doesn't laugh and helps to fix any issues I'm having.

Tried to stiffarm me to give up my computer for 10% less AFTER we agreed on terms of sale. He tried claiming false defects not realizing I worked in IT and knew that he was talking nonsense. Ended up going somewhere else. It felt like I was being manipulated and cheated. It seems as though he makes his money taking advantage of those that don't understand computers.

Dropped off my old slow laptop just before 6pm today and every upgrade I requested is complete! Less than 24 hours. I was able to get a 240GB SSD and RAM upgraded at a very reasonable price. Tim kept me informed throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone for computer upgrades.

After reading almost all the bad reviews and having a bad experience myself, I know this place is not good. From my experience, they are extremely blatant liars when you want a computer. Lied about an Asus Eee pc 1005ha saying that its charger was "broken" and that the battery was not working. They asked if I wanted to have a diff charger for more money but I said no. Lied.

The battery worked for up to 16 hrs. I also bought 2 other laptops from there, experience was terrible. I did more of the fixing then THEY did. They have basically NO experience with computing, and they sell GOOD things, but the quality and experience is terrible. When I had to use my Dell Latitude, my Eee PC, and my HP ProBook, ALL three of them had a problem.

When using the Latitude, within 2 weeks Windows wouldn't read the hard drive. Had to completely replace the disk, none of the operating systems would read it. The Eee PC had a similar experience. About 5 weeks into use, it would not boot from windows and was stuck in a reboot loop. Starting to see a pattern here? I did not have to replace the disk this time, but I had to REFORMAT it.

And now the Probook. The Probook had no problems for more than 2 months, but ALL OF a SUDDEN the charger broke. Happened the same thing for every other charger. This place sucks and I do not reccommend buying anything from here.

Stay away, unless you enjoy dealing with con artists. If you have an expectation of getting back only parts, or components, of whatever item you originally dropped off for repair then this is the electronic repair shop for you! Extremely unprofessional hacks. The only thing worse than their lack of actual computer/electronic knowledge are the blatant lies they hide behind in attempt to cover up their incompetence.

Every time I called about the status of a repair, I received a different answer. Funny how the problem could easily be fixed until after I forked over $120, and then suddenly the drive was damaged and corrupted and it could not be repaired. Not only was I out $120 but, when I went to pick up the drive, all I got in return was just loose parts from the original drive.

This place is a joke. My wife dropped off her phone to be repaired on a Saturday we didn't expect to receive that 24hr estimate. Hoping to find out by Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. We found out after a total of 255 hrs later that it was now being looked at. That is just over 10 days. Went in requested my wife's phone to go else where.

The owner argued with me about giving me my item back. After a 45 minute s later we got the phone back with I might say missing the SIM card tray and SIM card. The SIM card ended up in another customers phone. It's not even worth giving them a half a star. I recommend these people if you like to wait forever and possibly missing parts. Never hot our SIM card back and would not recommend these idiots. Thank you.

Removed the FBI virus from our family computer in less than a few days. Thank you so much Tim.

Terrible experience at this place. Had my cellular phone taken in for a cracked/damaged LCD on Oct-10-2012 said they order the part and call me within a week. Waited 2 weeks nothing. Call them back they gave me some story the part was not in stock I asked why they did not call me then to inform me? No reply. I asked for my deposit refund and got my phone back took it to The Repair Nerds where it was fixed in 2 days and even cheaper then what TIM told me it would cost.

My PS3 stopped working, just froze up and shut down. I wasn't sure what was wrong with it at all. I started searching the web to find some answers. Turns out there is something called the YLOD. Only way to fix it is to send your system back to Sony or find a local electronic repair store. I had no idea of any in my area at all. So I googled "PS3 Repair Lancaster" & that's when I found Mentzer Repair.

He had my system back and running the day after I dropped it off. Very friendly service, impressive turn around on repairs. I will return here for all future electronic repairs!

Love bringing my Xbox 360 into him fix. Also a great friendship along down the road. I would recommend people go to him fix computer, laptop, and game system. He is a great person.

Had a couple issues with my xbox 360 bad dvd rom drive and the famous red rings of death, had to drive from harrisburg to mentzer repair but it was well worth the drive. Tim is number one in my book reasonable curtious very informative and fast, keep up the good work Tim I will recommend your repair services to anyone who needs it, thanks again.

I found Tim to be friendly, personable and professional. He was running a special and tuned up my PC for $20!! He also did it the same day i called. If you need anything electronic repaired, give him a call.

WOW! Mentzer Repairs took care of the Red Ring Of Death on my Xbox 360, and for a bargain price! Not only did they use professional equipment, but the guy at the shop was able to explain everything and watch me complete the repair. I felt very confident in letting them work on my system and would highly recommend them!
