I called Boxaid last week for help to resolve difficulty receiving emails on my computer. John H. answered the call and reviewed the software I had on my computer to see if there were any potential conflicts causing the problem. After completing the review he recommended some software deletions. He also recommended replacing the antivirus software with one that is effective yet does not affect the system performance in a significant way.
He wanted to simplify the setup on the computer to see if that would resolve the problem. We gave it a few days to see if the email problem went away, and indeed it did. We now added back one software that we deleted earlier and will monitor the email to see if it will be negatively impacted by that addition. John was very thorough and methodical in determining the potential cause of the problem.
He also was very helpful in installing new antivirus software and software to help keep my Mac running efficiently. The entire process worked very well, and I am pleased with the result. I have scheduled time with John to work on my wife's computer also so that it works as well as mine now does. I recommend Boxaid to anyone in need of quality technical support for their computer. Their service is absolutely top shelf!

Boxaid remote computer repair is the best business I have ever dealt with. I accidentally moved [from my SSD (C:) drive] the "Windows" folder containing my computer's operating system to my secondary [and very slow] (D:) drive. When I called Boxaid last night, I had no space for storing anything and no speed to perform any work. My 1 year old laptop was a paperweight. Corey, my Boxaid technician (extension 809) more than quadrupled the free space in My SSD (C:) drive, and the computer is faster than when I first bought it.
The Process: I was able to watch every move made on my screen as he controlled it remotely. I then watched him disconnect from my PC and no one can reconnect without me first sending them the invitation and then me accepting their connection. IT IS SAFE. Corey spent 7 hours undoing my mistake for the flat rate of 89.00, as they promised. I added a great tip but he deserved more for sure. And the work is guaranteed. I will be calling back - this PC is how I make my living. Awesome company!

Wow - I can't rave enough about Boxaid! Found them via Consumer Reports (via Google) and based on the high ratings decided to give them a call. No voice greetings, no gimmicks, no sales pitches - a real human answered the phone on the 3rd ring (this on a Sunday evening). She diagnosed and fixed the problem literally within minutes (my Outlook refused to launch).

My technical expert is Kristina. This is probably around the fifth time I have used Boxaid to bail me out of trouble. I worked with Kristina for most of my visits. This person possesses a wealth of knowledge and cannot be stumped. She can analyze a problem in a second and have you fired up and back on line quickly. After talking to 5 different companies and hiring 2 companies, none of the companies could fix my computer. After talking to Boxaid on the phone they told me the the likely problem, than they checked my computer and verified the problem. They saved me alot of time and money. They did not charge me as much as other companies. I honestly told them to charge me more money but they said it was an easy fix and only charged me 29.95 This company is great. I was working on a deadline for two papers for school, my laptop was moving slower than pond water. I called them and spoke to a very nice woman who resolved my issue in a matter of minutes. WOW! It only cost $29 which is super cheap compared to what I am used to when I need help with anything computer related and I didn't even have to leave my house because she repaired it remotely.
I wish I would've found out about boxaid.com yesterday but now that I know about them I will definitely be calling them again anytime I wind up with issues that are beyond my scope of knowledge. I would definitely reccomend them to anyone who needs help with computer issues.

What a great experience I had tonight. Did not have to call someone to the house. Did not have to take my computer to a repair shop. Instead, I had Christina from Boxaid fix various problems on my computer at lightning speed. She is obviously very knowledgeable in the diagnostics and repair of a vast number of issues that could be the source of my issues, including a couple of big ones caused by a Microsoft update. So, I had a small bump in the road with BOXID and BUT the follow up was AMAZING.LIke Amazon in the early days! My story, I had a problem with my computer and called the outfit and the guy who I go on the phone as a computer Ninja, remoted in the for my all sorted out WELL worth the money! I did not think to pass code protect the computer and after coming back from work the kids already had damaged it again (yes I need to get better control of my kids). I had Boxaid technician zack helping me to restore a computer that I had bought at a pawn shop that had not been correctly rebooted, therefore causing all sorts of software issues. He was very patient and worked really hard to resolve the issue. This was a process that took a couple sessions but the issue was pretty deeply resinated, I love the fact that he did it all while I still continued with my daily activities, with the secure remote access it allowed him to be able to access my pc without me needing to be there for him to work on it. I had a computer problem where I could not access the interwebs. I called comcast and sat on the phone with them for hours and they couldnt help. I found Boxaid Remote Technical Support and was a bit skeptical at first because they had almost all 5 star reviews, but they are all well earned. Johnathan figured out in 5 minutes that it was an automatic update that windows had rolled out and a driver issue.
He didn't even charge me since it was such a quick fix. It seems like they can remote in and fix bigger issues. I recommend trying these guys out before you go haul your computer to some geek squad.

I called Boxaid because after installing Window 10 on my wife's computer couldn't be fixed by Microsoft customer service. The problem was that she used Google Chrome, which worked fine for about a week to 10 days, then suddenly she could not change the "default" browser to Chrome. While I considered this an "Operation System" problem, e.g. Windows 10, they insisted that it was a Chrome problem.
While I truly have no idea where the problem originated, I followed a suggestion by a good friend who suggested Boxaid. The individual who helped me at Boxaid was Jonathon. He took the time to step through the entire process which required a call back and total of about 40 minutes. After he solved my problem, I reached for my credit card. However, Jonathon refused to accept any enumeration.

I googled all of the remote tech support companies and researched the reviews for each of them. I finally decided to choose Boxaid based on the fact that they are based in the USA. My problem involved network sharing across Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 platforms. Jonathan with Boxaid solved all of my problems quickly and expertly. I was experiencing horribly slow performance on my old Dell Dimension E520. The technician from BoxAid was excellent in ruling out malware and advised me to upgrade the memory. He spent about 15 minutes with the PC, was highly professional and communicated clearly; no BS. My husband has previously written a review about Johnathan ( X 807 ) @ Boxaid.
I, too, had various computer problems. Jonathan was extremely easy to work with, he unquestionably knew exactly what to do, each and every step of the way.
Jonathan fixed each & every software problem I was experiencing and even pointed out other issues I was unaware of. And, he fixed those, also. He is a very knowledgeable fellow on this software stuff and I seriously appreciate working with him. I would highly, highly recommend Jonathan at Boxaid, X 807.

Zach solved my problem (I could not enter data on Expedia and other web sites because of pop ups) in about 3 minutes. He then called me to tell me how to fix it myself in the future...but also gave me his phone extension if I have any problem. Very professional. Really knows what he is doing. Thanks Zach

It's hard to know where to begin when you've had such an extraordinary experience with a company, but I'll do my best to express my sheer satisfaction with the service I received from Box Aid. Your technician, Zack, was just exemplary. Period. From start to finish, he was the epitome of customer service...on every level. His extreme ability, knowledge and persistence in resolving what turned out to be an almost impossible task on my computer was more than I ever expected to receive and worth every single penny (and more) than I was charged for his time.
Add to his extreme capabilities a pleasant, trustworthy and overwhelmingly patient personality and it doesn't get much better than this! He spent not only hours on addressing the problems on my computer, but answered a zillion questions that I had and was the same accommodating and personable man each and every time. In this day and age, it's ridiculously hard to find people like Zack, who truly express their love for what they do in every aspect of their interaction with customers.
He is a perfect example. I'm sure your company is aware of what a treasure he is and I hope this message will reach the ears of someone who will commend and acknowledge him for not only a job well done, but for the true asset he is and the testament he brings to the reliability of your company. Zack was so helpful. This was such a better alternative to Geek Squad or a better alternative to buying a new computer which was the point I was at earlier in the day. He got on my computer remotely, fixed everything while I watched TV and when he called me back my computer was like brand new! All my browsers worked, no pop ups no adds, a free anti virus.
I even called him back 30 minutes after with a small problem with my sound and he gladly fixed that with no problem. It is so nice to work with a person fixing your computer who speaks English and did it in such a timely manner. Now my office days can go back to 8 hours instead of 12 hour days plus working on my days off because of computer issues! Amazing.

Just had Boxaid remove malware from our PC. Although the process took about 4 hours they did an excellent job; especially for the price. Jonathan answered all our questions and gave us suggestions to prevent any future problems. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future if need be.

Jonathan was my tech. I can't say enough good things about him. First class all the way! He went above and beyond to get my computer in good working order again. He was good to explain things and the communication was excellent. Boxaid is a good service if you are far from repair and you do not have to wait forever. The prices are very good also. The techs know is going on and service is tops. Jonathan's number is 800-999-6872, ext. 807. If he is busy he will make an appointment. I was very happy.

I have been a client of Jonathan's for several months now. Previously I had used a local store front computer repair place. Although they tried their best, a local store front operation just cannot compare in quality, type and overall support I receive from Jonathan at Boxaid. It is a night and day comparison. In my earlier career I was a computer techie.
But my skills have become obsolete now. Thanks to Jonathan, my computer runs at top notch speed and I can honestly say, I experience ZERO problems. I can't rave enough about this fellow. And not just his technical skills, but his ability to understand an issue or a problem, and to be able to fix it 1,2,3. No kidding. At Boxaid, ask for Jonathan, ext. 807.
For the record, this is an honest opinion. Prior to my becoming a Boxaid customer, I have never known, spoken to or had any prior knowledge about this fellow. This is a legitimate referral and a legitimate personal opinion.

After fooling with my PC for the better part of the day I started looking for an online repair site. The first site I called tried to scam me with a story about Iran hacking me. The second hung up on me. The third was BoxAid. They did an extensive diagnostic and basically fixed my PC as they went. They taught me about some of the Malware I had downloaded, and spent an incredible amount of time for what they charged. I have always brought my busted PC's to the shop, but now if it can be worked on online, this will be my first choice.

I am from the UK and think the service is beyond all expectations. The technician No 7, Christopher could not have been more helpful. I explained that another very well known anti-virus company had charged me for a poor service and he assured me he would do his best to help. He tried everything to resolve the faults that appeared to be numerous. At no time did he want to give up and I would recommend the service to anyone with a problem. Unfortunately I could not leave a voicemail to show my appreciation as it did not work (possibly because I was in the UK).

I am writing this review to let everyone know how pleased I am with the work of Chris Vivace of Box Aid! My computer was freezing, running very slowly and I was getting pop ups. It had a lot of viruses on it but after Chris got done working with it, it now runs much faster without freezing and pop ups. This guy really is a professional and took time to explain every step he was taking. I would recommend Chris & Box Aid to anyone who is having trouble with their computer!

Our computer was infected by a virus that hijacked every bit of the computer. I called and Josh went above and beyond to fix the computer. He even made it run better. It took him over 7 hours to remove the virus that locked up every program you could imagine, but he never faltered. He called me many times with updates & assured me he could fix it. He also offered advice on how to handle viruses going forward. I will recommend to everyone! Thank you!!

I used your service last year and George did such a great job at repair and customer service that I didn't it could get better than it did. While shopping for truck parts on the net a nasty virus popped onto the screen I shut down and called you guys immediately. Chris Vivace called back at the scheduled time, calmed me down and went to work. He stayed on the machine five hours (after I went to bed) and followed up the next morning.
He went so above and beyond the call. I can't express how happy I was with the service. He's a great asset, at a price nobody can match. I always recommend your service to everyone. Every company needs your business model of great expertise and superior customer service. Why would I go anywhere else, regardless of price.

After somehow contracting a very nasty virus that basically crippled my computer, I called boxaid and spoke to George. He knew exactly what to, and he was able to fix pc without me even leaving my home! It took about 1-2 hours, and I was back up and running without losing any files or data. If you ever get one of those "you contracted a virus and you need to purchase this anti-virus software ASAP" pop ups, stop what you are doing and call boxaid immediately as they will get the job done for you.

A quick email to George with BoxAid.com and within ten minutes he was working on my computer. When I have a problem or my computer is running really slow, BoxAid has always helped me. My son told me about this company when i had a virus he couldn't remove. I was skeptical at first but figured what did i have to lose. The most important thing was that they didn't ask for my credit card up front. Sure enough they did a great job and fixed my computer and it was WELL worth th $90 cost!

Box Aid saved me time and money: within two hours my business was up and running again for a reasonable fee. As a small business owner, I don't have a lot of time to wait for a computer tech to arrive. Instead I call Boxaid and have a tech online the same day. It really is convenient and affordable.

Other places had wanted me to leave my computer and charge between 180-260 dollars. I found this service online and thought I'd try it. My technician George was top of the line. He was thourough and fast. Explained everything thoroughly that he did. He worked for three hours and also installed new antiviral software for free. All my trojan viruses were removed. My machine runs great. all of this for $89.95. I can't recommend this service enough. Great. Great. Great.

I had an extremely nasty virus on my laptop that kept redirecting all my searches regardless of the browser that was used. The Boxaid experts, Karen and George, worked on removing this really intractable virus for over 10 hours combined. They were very committed to ensure that the problem was solved and that I had received a high quality service. They also kept reminding me that I would not have to pay the $89.95 fee (repair fee for service that requires more than 90 minutes) if they did not fix the problem. I would highly recommend using Boxaid because their experts are genuinely committed to providing an honest, reliable and high quality service.

I had a virus that was not being removed by Mcafee or Malwarebytes. My tech was great and persistent. He worked on computer for 3 hours. I don't know how he did it but he got this virus off that I spent days trying to remove. Every time I removed it it would come back but so far it has not come back since boxaid worked on it. Its been 3 weeks. Highly recommended.

I was getting a ton of error messages on my laptop and it was painfully slow. Called them for a tuneup and they found 7 viruses which they cleaned and still charged me for the tuneup which was cheaper then virus cleanup. I had went to geeksquad and they wanted $200!!! I told them I could buy a new PC for $200. Boxaid only charged me $60 and my pc i running perfectly.

Called these guys after I got a virus. My coworker told me about them. It was pretty cool how they connected to my computer to fix it. They were very persistent cause the virus was trying to stop them. My computer is back to normal. They asked me to write a review for them on this website but I definitely don't mind cause they did a great job.

I was about to buy a new PC because it was just so painfully slow but I decided to give this service a shot. I called and got a tech by the name of Sean. He was very helpful. He connected to my PC and it took him about an hour to clean up my drive. He also advised me that I should upgrade my RAM. Thanks Boxaid! My PC is back to life and you saved me from investing in a new PC.

I've tried geeksquad near my house in Chicago and their service was horrible. My uncle told me about boxaid and I wasn't expecting much but I was wrong. They were professional and actually knew what they were talking about. Had my printer problem solved in 45 minutes. Would recommend them. Really cool cause I didn't have to bring someone to my house.

I read about these guys in the wall street journal. I've had a virus that i couldn't get rid of for a while, so i figured i would give them a shot since the wall street journal said they were pretty good, sure enough they did a great job and the tech had everything perfect in one hour. I couldn't believe how easy it was for them to connect to my pc. Kudos

Christopher did an excellent job. He took his time, thoroughly cleaned my computer, and spent time afterward to explain things, wrap up a few loose ends, and make sure I was completely satisfied. I liked that you pay after services have been rendered, and considering the amount of time he spent, I felt like it was a good value. I would use this company again.

I wish I could give Jon quadruple the points! Jon spent the better part of the afternoon troubleshooting my computer and e-mail (after "operator error" screwed it up). Not only did he fix my work, he's given me back a lean, mean, restored machine. Being able to watch him work - though the speed he worked at left me in the dust - and to be able to text questions at the same time was amazing. If you're looking for remote computer tuneup/repair don't even think about contacting anyone else!

Reached out to Boxaid because I had .725 ransomware malware on my pc. George tried for a good hour to clear it up, however my desktop files were encrypted by virus and beyond repair. He did not charge me for his service, which I greatly appreciate, as well as the great effort he went to trying to undone what had been done. Highly recommend!

Awesome - Awesome - Awesome !!! Had my computer fixed after my kids infected it. I did not think to pass code protect the computer and after coming back from work the kids already had damaged it again after just a few days (yes I need to get better control of my kids). I asked Box Aid how much to re - fix. They said no charge and spent a half hour fixing the junk my kids had put back on the box. So thankful for these guys - and yes I have a pass code on my computer now.
