Went here with a custom pc build when I burnt out my Mobo a while ago. Replaced the Mobo and a couple other things and I couldn't get it to post. Took it here and had to wait longer than I was told (2 weeks) for what I believe wasn't even a real diagnostic but just an eyeball at what could be wrong with my machine. I was told my Mobo was bad because there was a "spot" on it even though it was brand new. $70 charge for this quality service and a two week wait with no updates anytime I would call.

After replacing my Mobo yet again it didn't work, big surprise. I ended up figuring out it was my ram/PSU from a helpful employee at micro center for FREE before purchasing parts. Wish I could get my money back

Went in to have my laptop checked out (screen wasn't functioning properly). He ended up trying to fix it on the spot, gave me a run down of what was going on, and then gave me options. Did NOT try to get me to buy the most expensive repair from the start, but rather wanted to start from the cheapest option available and work our way up if time allowed trial and error. Ended up not fixing laptop due to it becoming more expensive to fix in total repairs than getting a new laptop.

Guy was still very nice and did not charge me at all. He gave me laptop recommendations and mentioned he backs up data and moves it all to a new laptop for a small fee if I was interested. I would 100% go back. Runs a great service and is looking to help, not take your money.

This is definitely the best laptop repairing service I have ever used. My laptop experienced a WIFI driver issue. The technician helped me fixed it in 5 mins without any charge. They are really patient and responsive. Strongly recommended here if you are looking for a quick and expertized repair service!

Great service done within two days much better then sending laptop back to manufactures! Good prices as well! Worth the trip to them! I highly recommend.

This is a great repair shop. I went to Computerland when I had had enough of getting my cpu repaired by big tech retail stores. These guys are really great at repair and advice. They explain various options for upgrading. No one works there who isn't extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They're good at calling with updates on the status of the work. They repair both PC and Apple. They've done a number of jobs for us and we have been very satisfied.

Best service ever. The saved my data, repaired my computer. After repair it was even faster then new. The helped me several times with on side service.

These guys are the best. They are fast, friendly, honest, affordable and very fair. My computer went down and I needed 1) a document retrieved urgently 2) then my computer fixed if it was affordable. Both tasks were handled extremely well and not only did I decide to have them fix the computer since it was so reasonably priced, they actually only charged me half of their original quote (which I had already agreed upon) for document retrieval since it was easier than they thought it might be.

They also did extra maintainance like removal of severe dust buildup at no extra charge (and they were kind enough to take and show me pictures of the computer inside for what they worked on). Like with auto repair there is a degree of trust involved--most of us have no real idea what is actually wrong with the inside of one's computer but these guys seemed happy to find that my computer only needed the "cheaper option" to get back running (video card repair as opposed to complete motherboard replacement). Overall terrific experience and would definitely use them again without hesitation.

When another company downtown was going to charge me $800 to recover my data, ComputerLand LLC in Lincoln Park charged me just over $200, and everything came out great!

Very helpful, can basically do any computer and are in a great location for lincoln park. The two guys who work there are also very friendly , definitely worth going here over other places!

This is the second time I have gone to Chicago computerland and I would recommend it to my most valued friend. The first time they fixed my cracked computer screen and the second time they installed a solid state drive and windows 10 as well as a couple of other complimentary programs. What an amazing experience always. I am literally thinking about what other things I can ask them to help me improve. And the price is totally reasonable always!!!!! Thank you!!!!
