Computing Parts Online Computer Pro was originally founded in 1987 by Dave and Pam Merrill. Computer Pro is in the business of providing computer and networking consulting, sales, service, and support.

This includes systems consulting, product sales, installation of hardware & software, customization, configuration, training, administration, project management and technical support of workstations, servers, local and wide area networks, remote access, and data communications technology.

We offer comprehensive technology services encompassing the areas of office automation, accounting systems, overall systems design, network cabling and installation, database design, data storage, backup, archiving and retrieval, data communications, E-mail, and WWW access.

Our consultants deliver on-site services throughout the greater Santa Barbara area.

What a find! My 8-year-old Macbook Air is like new. I can't say enough good things about MacSource - really. Very responsive and went the extra mile on everything I asked for. The owner is a Mac genius - and he loves Macs the same way I do. I'd give him 10-stars if I could!

I would go here every time I have an issue with my Mac devices. Even though in the end he could not help me, he tried things the normal Mac store had not and didn't charge me for his time, because he was ultimately unsuccessful. He was great in communication and clearly knows his stuff. Way better experience than going to the normal Mac store and priced very fairly for the quality of service.

Internal Power Supply board in my iMac failed. Took it into Eric and he quoted me to get it fixed. Quote was a little too high for me to consider fixing it right away. A couple days later, Eric told me a customer dropped off a similar iMac model for recycling that had the part I needed. Eric said he'd just charge me for labor to put it in mine and it ended up being a 1/4 of the original quote. Good man! Trustworthy and highly recommended. Thanks, Eric!

Eric did a great job of diagnosing a hard drive failure on a Late 2015 iMac, recovering all of the data and replacing said hard drive. Professional and equipped with masks, hand sanitizer, distancing.all of the things a business should be. Thanks for your help!

I am so thankful for Eric and his expertise. He's kind, professional, experienced and resourceful. Growing up out of state, I heavily relied on the experience of going into an Apple store to set up a new computer; the experience with Eric at Mac Source is BETTER by far. Eric helped suggest the right computer for me, and loaded it all up from my old one. One drop off and it was ready to go. Can't recommend him enough.

Outstanding customer service. Thorough and honest; you want quality work for your repair and a knowledgeable technician, expect to pay what they quote because it's a fair deal and it's worth it. Wouldn't trust any other place in town to service my Macbook and Mac Mini.

Absolutely the best Mac repair service I've ever used before, and I've had to repair my 2012 several times over the years. They are incredibly knowledgable, courteous, professional, and resourceful. I had a hardware issue with my display that I had already diagnosed myself; I took my Pro in after scheduling an appointment and told them I thought I needed a new screen.

There was no arguing, no second guessing my diagnosis, but they also didn't just take what I said with blind faith. They asked to keep my Macbook overnight so that they could make sure that it was definitely the hardware issue I had diagnosed. The next day, they called to inform me it was indeed the issue and they priced several options over the phone immediately so that I could make a choice and get my laptop back as soon as possible.

The hardware pricing was standard and the labor costs were incredibly well priced considering the quality of the work they provided. The laptop was returned fully functioning in a very small window of time. On top of all this, Macsource also informed me of a failing hard drive issue; mind you this wasn't even the reason I brought my laptop in in the first place.

This level of service and customer interaction leaves a stark impression. If I could leave more than a five star review I would. Macsource will continue to be the only place I will ever trust with my Apple products. Absolutely outstanding.

Eric is a lifesaver! Right before leaving the country my mac dies out of nowhere. Eric found and fixed the problem in 24 hours. Also when I got my computer back home I found out that mac's new operating system wasn't compatible with what programs I was needing to run so he changed my operating system for me immediately and now everything is running perfect.

He is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, capable, and extremely efficient. His rates are very reasonable too, I thought I would have to pay WAY more than I had to for the service I received.

Eric is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He responds to phone calls and texts promptly, finishes repairs in a very timely manner, and does excellent work. I would not take my Apple products to anyone else!
