Leighton J.Douglas began building computer systems for friends and family, out of their garage in the suburbs of Syracuse Ny. A manager for ACME National Bank came across one of their powerful network systems and contacted Douglas Computing Technologies. She explained that ACME needed a database and network structure that would facilitate growth with no downtime. Syracuse University graduates accepted the challenge and created an advanced system that enabled ACME to not only grow exponentially, but created a powerful online presence and functionality for them as well.
ACME was thrilled with the results, and spread the word. Leighton J. Douglas then decided that they had an opportunity to help many other businesses facing the same challenge, and Douglas Computing Technologies was born. Their fist challenge was creating a powerful infrastructure of their own. Within a year, the staff at Douglas Computing Technologies grew in number from 3 to 15. Douglas Computing Technologies has now grown to a staff of nearly 17 professionals committed to delivering unparalleled service.

So i called him with an issue with my computer over heating. I knew the cooling system wasnt working and but i wanted to check it out to make sure. I was at this guys office for 30 minutes where he took a phone call for another client while assisting me and afterwards charged me $47 to say he couldnt tell if there was an issue with my cooling system or not because what i said wasnt happening.
I went to a different person the same day who kept the computer over night called the next day stating the cooling system was deffly the issue ordered the new part and installed it. This guy doesnt know what hes doing when it comes to this issue. do not bring it to him if you computer is over heating. try Detor Computer Services. MUCH MUCH better.

I do a lot of PC repair myself, but recently I had an issue with the charging port on an ultra book and I wanted a professional repair done. Douglas computing explained the issue, repaired the part on the motherboard, and gave a price that I thought was very reasonable considering the work involved. I would recommend Douglas Computing to anyone, and will continue to use them as a go to for consulting and advanced repair.

Let me just say that, this guy knows his stuff, he will take you in and give you excellent service, at a very fair price. Skip all the big wig companies, and form a relationship/bond with Douglas Computing Technologies, and you will be set for as long as you need. He's very friendly, personable, and performs top-notch quality service. Skip the over-priced highway robbery from these big companies, and go to this place, you will not regret it!

Definitely the best place to get your computer repaired in Syracuse.very knowledgeable and takes the time to go over all of your options with you. Don't waste your time dealing with some faceless big business where all they want to do is upsell you. Get your computer repaired by someone whose only goal is your complete satisfaction with his work.

They messed up my computer and kept trying to fix but failed. I called them 3 days later to cancel and requested a refund. They assured me that a refund would be done. NOT! Their attempts to fix my problems were infantile. After cancelling, I contacted another service called PriceRight and they performed very satisfactorily. The only way that could get a refund was to call my credit card company and contest the charge.

Douglas Computing Technologies made me feel like they actually cared about my pc issue. Very prompt and understanding. Plus it didn't end up costing a ton of money either. Even after paying for the repair a new issue came up a few days later and they remoted in to fix it without hesitating! Trust me DCT is the way to go if your computer is giving you nightmares.
