Impossible to even find. Stood outside calling them but no one picked up. Finally called the building staff and they said they didn't know of any repair shop in their building. Went elsewhere. For such a time sensitive issue this really wasn't acceptable.

I recently used On the Go PC Repair to diagnose and repair my desktop that went out. They were friendly, accommodating, and relatively quick on getting it fixed and returned (Bruce was great). Only reason I gave 4/5 is due to the fact they forgot to reconnect one of my spare HDD drives and my case had an odd odor after being returned (a cheap air freshener or a 'fragrant' cigar maybe). Labor was a little high (IMO), but they did a great job overall. I have no problem recommending them and would totally use them again.

The cooling fan on my laptop needed to be replaced and they were able to do it in under 48 hours! Bruce kept in contact with me throughout the process and was very professional. They even delivered the laptop to me on a Saturday, and the man who delivered my laptop was very helpful in showing me exactly what they had fixed. Strongly recommend

Absolutely wonder experience with "On The Go PC Repair"! I damaged my external hard drive (EHD), originally smoked damaged during a fire, then years later, accidentally dropped. Hanging on with tape, eventually, I was unable to open any files. Error messages galore. Really, really, really needed my data from the external drive, which was not backed-up anywhere, being the sole source of my existence!

Found "On The Go PC Repair" via Google (searched for recovery of EHD data in the Washington DC metropolitan area). They provided pick-up transportation the same day by a super nice guy name Steve- Prompt. Professional. In store Manager, Bruce, kindly informed me the following day that data recovery was possible, but they needed at least a day or so to complete the job.

Two business days later, Steve delivers a brand new EHD with all my recovered data! And now I am good to go! Way to go "On The Go" PC Repairs! Lesson learned though-I have a back-up to the back-up to the back-up!

Quick and kind service. Had a problem with my fan and the fix was done in just 1 day. Bruce was completely honest with my laptop problem. Did not make any false claims to scam me and get more money out of me, as other places might have. Highly recommend their servce.

My computer screen broke & I was looking for good computer repair company I came across On The Go PC Repair. I called them & asked how much would it cost to repair it & the turn around time. It was in my budget & he kept me informed the whole time they had my computer. They also brought it to my work to drop it off. I would recommended them to everyone I know & the people I work with. Great business in the city.

My laptop was frozen and my internet disappeared and I needed help. I found On The Go PC Repairs and my fear of losing everything on my laptop was put at ease. They were able to restore everything to working order and backed up all my info on a thumb drive. I have a second older laptop that's run a little slow and I am taking it to On The Go PC Repair to bring it back up to speed. It is reassurance to find a computer repair company that you know you can go for help.

DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR VALUABLE ELECTRONICS! Been over three weeks and my pc still hasn't been repaired, it's super hard to get them on the phone now that I have paid them for the repairs. Wouldn't recommend them over other repair stores who answer the phones and have good customer service. I could have easily gone to the store or ordered the parts they are still waiting on.

Be one thing if the waiting list was long or they where slammed with work but waiting for weeks on parts with no answered phone calls or updates makes me not recommend this company. I would go with any of the other pc repair shops that understand how to answer a phone and give realistic time tables for fixing your gear. So far it has taken me days on the regular to get a call back.

All the times for repairs, reasons for repairs, and everything they have told me from Day one has been wrong. To include the fact they work over the weekends and could be reached on weekends. Again don't trust this company! Update: it's now been another week. They claim the motherboard they got in the mail is broken or they misdiagnosed it.

I asked them to set up a time tomorrow for me to retrieve my pc and take it someplace else. They refused to set up a time to return my pc to me. I have never been with a local repair company that refused to return my gear once I asked for it back. I would highly recommend not using this company ever! UPDATE NUMBER TWO: After being promised I would be returned my pc parts and sometime in the future get a refund minus the service fee.

I have yet to hear back or been able to get any employees on the phone, I've left messages every time and called multiply times today. I have even requested to come to them and that I just want the parts in whatever state they are in. I have tried both numbers multiple times. Nothing but crickets! AGAIN DONT TRUST A WORD THESE PEOPLE SAY TO YOU!

I wouldn't want anyone else to have to experience what I am now dealing with these people! Final and last update: I was able to get my pc back but only after calling the numbers multiple times and leaving massages with no answers. When they where set to return my pc parts they didn't even know which ones where mine. Once I got my pc back I could tell they hadn't taken any of the parts out or switched them up.

I had some zip ties on my gpu that they claimed they took out and put into a different system to check it. Along with all my other parts that they clearly didn't move at all. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! I wasted a month of time, was super frustrating to even get my parts back, and I didn't even learn one thing that was wrong with my pc. Don't let these people help you! They will steal your gear do nothing then charge you to get it back while making a huge pain in your butt! I highly don't recommend this SCAM!

I've waited several months before writing this review to reflect on my experience. I had previously given this business 5 stars; after a fairly ugly interaction with this business, I no longer recommend its services. I had a desktop that needed larger hard drives installed, windows reinstalled, and additional memory. I had the computer picked up with the understanding that it would be returned after a long weekend.

They missed the deadline with many excuses. One delay, which I discovered after the original delivery date had passed, was caused because they ordered the wrong part. They wanted to wait for its delivery so they could return it, get the credit, and then make the correct purchase. When I asked why they couldn't purchase the correct part now so that I wouldn't have to wait for them to be credited, I was told they didn't have the capital to make the $250 purchase - despite my having paid for all parts up front.

I was called unreasonably demanding. Since then I've discovered three separate problems that go beyond the initial irritation and delay. First, one of the installed drives was formatted in exFAT which is used for removable drives to be compatible with Mac or windows. It is not recommended for drives that will use Windows 10 solely, and I've seen some discussion that it is more prone to file corruption.

I will have to reformat this drive and reinstall all data again. Second, the memory they added is slower than the memory they were supposed to be matching; the computer will use all the memory but at the slower speed. The difference in practical terms is low but it suggests sloppy work in my opinion. Third, an existing blu-ray disc drive is not being recognized by the computer. I'm inclined to believe the blu-ray drive wasn't checked to ensure it was recognized when the new hard drives were installed. I'll look elsewhere for my future computer needs.

They lost 6 years of photos, documents, and data off of a fully functional machine. I bring it in for a glitchy mouse touchpad on my laptop, they say I need a new hard drive and a new mouse pad and quote me a price I have to pay up front. I pay it. I hear back a week later that they didn't realize my old hard drive was a steady state hard drive and they had ordered a non-steady state one. Fine, but if they had even turned on my computer or opened it up they should have known that it was steady state.

I don't hear from them for over a month. I finally call them up and they say it's been ready for a while. They never called to tell me. I pick it up and anything that had been on there from the last 6 years has been deleted. Personal photos, all my master's course work, resumes, everything. AND THE MOUSE PAD STILL DOESN'T WORK!

I have left a million messages hoping they can make it right, recover some of what was lost, anything. Have not got a response yet. Oh and most places when they replace a hard drive will give you the old one to keep so A you know they aren't reselling it and/or keeping your data and B so if something like this happens they can still possibly recover what was lost. Obviously, this place did not do this. I recommend everyone stay clear of this garbage operation.

Get your computer needs taken cared of here. These guys were great; I went into the office filled out the form for a broken laptop screen, left my laptop. Next day brand new screen, and it was delivered to my house with a warranty. Very efficient, very professional, and most importantly- affordable.

They had a computer malfunction that prevented them from getting in touch with me after I had prepaid for a laptop screen repair totaling $450. Following multiple attempts to reach them, I put in a dispute with my credit card company. After that, they reached out and got my fixed computer to me. The repair was fine, my computer no longer has a cracked screen, and the fact that they picked up the computer from me and dropped out off at my place was nice. But it was expensive for the service and I had to go through an extended hassle after they had already taken my money.

Stay away! Avoid at all times! This is a horrible business, it is not in fact a business, it is a scam. I regret the day we called them up with a broken screen issue. The "crew" took in the computer and asked us to pre-pay for the cost of the screen $200. Sound familiar? See other reviews below. Seems like this is a well oiled machine for these scammers.

They have not answered my phone calls for 4 weeks after this. Then they said that the part they ordered was wrong and asked me to wait more. I went into the "office" several times (was never able to talk to the actual employees, just the secretary in the building, who was working for another business). Basically, after 6 weeks of scandals I received the computer back and it came with "new" frames and cover cases that were scratched and of poor quality and were obviously taken from an old computer of some sort and simply placed on ours, the charger was not the original one either and was old too (it ended up dying a month later).

The computer has not been properly working ever since. Waste of money, time, energy, nerve cells. Ablsolutely horrible place, awful people, AVOID! Too many red flags were waived at me and I was too naive to neglect them, but in this age I was so surprised that such owful "businesses" can still operate.

So I called On the Go PC repair over a weekend because my pc was experiencing the dreadful blue screen of death issue. I spoke w/ a friendly gentleman who assured me that if I gave his company the opportunity, they would be able to diagnose and resolve the problem. I told him I'd already taken the computer to another pc repair shop in the past and they could not tell me why I was experiencing the BOD.

On the Go PC Repair scheduled my computer for a pick up the next morning (a Sunday!). The repairman was on time (and gave a courtesy call before arriving). The repairs were discussed with me and made quickly. The price was quite reasonable. I have my pc back w/o any issues or concerns and I'm a happy camper! I would definitely recommend this company.

I have used this service several times to deal with my personal computer issues. They were able to quickly diagnose and repair a problem with repeated crash-to-desktop issues and to help with a build that was failing to boot. Both computers are still running without problems. Pickup was simple and convenient. They were responsive to questions and calls. Their prices were very reasonable and conveyed before they did any work. I never felt surprised by hidden costs. I would easily recommend their services.

At first, I was impressed with the service for replacing my laptop screen hinges and bezels. It did take a couple of weeks for the parts to arrive and for my computer to get repaired. BUT, when it was returned to me, the new parts had visible scratches and gashes in the screen cover. When I agreed to the service, I was told that parts would be new.

I was not informed that the new parts would be used or visibly worn. Shortly after, I spoke with the manager and he offered to send me a $20 refund for the damages. After a month of waiting, a check has not been received and On the Go PC no longer answers my calls.

I had a broken laptop screen and nobody else would repair it. I went to Best Buy and they told me it would cost $300. I am so glad I called On-The-Go instead! I called in the afternoon and they got back to me within ten minutes, made an appointment to come to my home the next day, and repaired my laptop quickly. The best part was they charged a fraction of what Best Buy (or anyone else) had quoted me. The whole experience could not have been quicker or more pleasant. These guys do not disappoint!

For those living in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC area looking for fast affordable PC repairs and services, On The Go PC Repair is the way to go. I had a problem with my power supply dying on my old computer and contacted them via e-mail. I received a phone call from Bruce rather quickly and told him more of the problem. Bruce informed me of their policies and scheduled a pickup appointment the next day to take to their shop and run a diagnostics test. Steve arrived quickly the next day and picked up my computer. Bruce called me that afternoon and informed me of the problem with the power supply and the more than affordable cost of $80 to repair it.

I received my PC today and it works like it's new again. I can't speak enough of the service that Bruce and Steve performed on my computer. Working with On the Go was a great experience. They came to my apartment within 24 hours to solve a problem when my Wi-Fi printer was not communicating with my Wi-Fi network. Their people were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and fast. Their service is very affordable, and you pay only if they fix your problem. I recommend them without reservation.

I have found they will go far with this company their expertise in calling and communicating with the customer makes the relationship special. I'm satisfied and look forward to a future with them.

This Organization was very, very, good. Their teamwork was awesome. They kept me updated with details of my computer repair. They gave me blow-by-blow updates which was reassuring to me. They did what they said especially in the time management. I couldn't be happier at this point, with the service, customer relations and with the service fee.
