Laptop shack's roots can be traced all the way from 1992 when the original store was founded in NYC in the lower east side. The store was moved to several locations in NYC until it was moved to Middletown, NY in 2002. The store was originally set up in a small shack at the heart of middletown, at that point the name was changed from "Little Laptop Shack" to 'Laptop Shack'.
To date, billions of people are not connected to the Internet, which is probably one of the reasons the digital gap is at a high. However, whether to bridge such gap or address other tech feats, people from literally any part of the planet may now have access to the Internet with Space Exploration Technologies Corp or SpaceX's satellite internet constellation Starlink.

I needed to get my tablet screen fixed because it shattered, and they quoted me at $160.00. I then agree to give it to them, with a non refundable fee of around $80.00. Once I gave them the tablet and paid the fee, the price jumped from $160.00 to 380.00. I can understand a small jump in price from the estimate, but that jump in price was ridiculous.
I ended up doing it anyways or I'd lose the $80.00 I'd already given them. My tablet got fixed quick and they did a great job, I just wish they'd been honest when they quoted me on how much it'd be, or say they wouldn't know till they contacted their vendor for a more accurate quote.

I had my iPhone screen replaced here, and I can't recommend it enough! The service was very fast and the employees were upfront with cost and turnaround time. I did my research with a few other vendors before bringing my phone here and this was the best option by far. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgable as well. They were not pushy at all and seemed to genuinely care about my phone being fixed as quickly and efficiently as possible. I will definitely be doing business with Laptop Shack in the future.

I just wanted to thank you and your staff for a job well done. Considering that your technician was able to diagnose and have our server properly repaired and returned within essentially 24-hours enabling my office to stay on track with scheduled work and appointments was very impressive. Our server had a burned out power unit and would not power up. Additionally it crashed during an update and needed start-up to be repaired. Our business would have been severely impacted if these items were not repaired in the time it took!!! Thanks so much!!!
