Had a wonderful experience with Impress Computers. We experienced a hardware issue that we knew would would be expensive to address. Impress provided us with a replacement recommendation of our old computer and they were able to transition everything to the new computer within 24 hours. We did experience a communication lapse/interpretation issue with the technician regarding installation of MS products onto the new computer but Impress Computers took responsibility and we mutually agreed on a quick and acceptable way to resolve the issue.

I've known Roland and Roy, since Lanstar started business in 2008. We have always had superior service in both repairs and purchasing of new or used computers. I can not say enough good things about Impress Computers! Their name truly fits them!!! Any time I have reached out for help they get back to me quickly and go above and beyond to solve my problem. Konstantin is the tech that always helps me with our IT problems, and he is amazing! He is very helpful, considerate, and always solves my problem! This is a follow-up, in answer to Roland Parker's June 4 response to my initial review of May 3. Mr. Parker apologized for the delay in processing the promised refund, but then attempted to trivialize the importance of it by indicating that the delay was only 1 week. If that was true, I would agree with him (and I would characterize myself as unjustifiably restless).

But the delay in handling the refund wasn't 1 week, it was over FIVE WEEKS and, no, that isn't acceptable or justifiable. Mr. Parker promised the refund on Feb 21; the order shipped on Feb 22; I mentioned the refund in a message to him on Feb 24 (which was principally about the signature issue); I wrote him again about the refund on Mar 18 (almost a month later); and sent him a final email about the refund on Mar 23 (this one sent to the email address tied to the Impress PayPal account, so I could be certain it would be an actively monitored mailbox).

I received no response to any of these, so I filed a complaint with PayPal on Mar 30 at 11:32a. At 11:47a that same day (15 minutes after I filed the complaint), I received notification from PayPal that "Case closed in your favor -- We reviewed the case you filed on March 30, 2021 and have decided in your favor. We've issued a refund of $3.28 USD to you." Mr. Parker stated that Impress handled the refund, not PayPal.

That isn't what PayPal wrote. Mr. Parker also stated that the delay was only 1 week when, in fact, it was 5 weeks and 2 days. As a matter of principle, that is a huge difference. This refund is trivial in amount. But I was not treated respectfully as a customer, and in my opinion Mr. Parker had no intention of ever processing the promised refund. Zero stars for Impress in how they handled the refund, and for their misstatement of the facts in defending their (non)response.

Impress Computers certainly impressed me with their prompt service and good pricing. I was able to purchase a difficult to find AMD 5600x for MSRP when they were not in stock anywhere else. Shipping was cheap and quick. I would recommend purchasing from them for any computer needs.

I purchased an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor from Impress Computers. They mistakenly sent me a Ryzen 5 3600 processor instead. I contacted Roland by phone and he very quickly sent me a shipping label to send the 3600 back to him, with the agreement that they would send the 5600X upon receipt. After shipping the processor back, I found the processor for a slightly better price, and being on a tight budget, emailed Impress to request a full refund as opposed to the originally agreed upon replacement.

They did so as soon as they received the processor. While my transaction with Impress Computers may not have resulted in an actual sale for them, I was very "impressed" with their customer service and attempt to rectify their error. I would not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

Had stock when nobody else did. Granted I had to wait three months for the graphics card. Waited about a month and a half on the CPU. But all in all it was a good experience. Had real people answer the phone, were professional and polite. Would buy from again.

Shady sales practice. Preordered Asus 3090 at 2k. Asked when they would get more stock. At first, no eta. I then requested to cancel and refund me. They said ok and processed a refund. I then asked again after they quickly cancelled my order, they then updated to this weekend. I've asked that they retake my order at the same price (since this was stock that they should have ordered already from the manufacturer at what ever price they get it at) They wouldn't do it, stated there was a price increase. You are telling me the order you placed with your vender Asus already in the past, lets say 50 cards gave you a new invoice for a higher price? Will never do business again.

Absolutely wonderful customer experience with them! It was by sheer luck that I came across Impress Computers in my search for the AMD Ryzen 9 5900x cpu, and I have absolutely nothing but praise for how Roland and the team handled the delivery of this product with scalping and supply chain disruptions running amok for this product at even the major authorized resellers (e.g. Best Buy, Amazon, Newegg, eBay, etc) out there. Most importantly, Roland was very communicative and transparent about the status of the pre-order I placed on this product.

I love their front desk services and technician team too. A technician named Hazem helped me a lot to analyze my laptop's situation and explained how he would fix it and made my laptop returning to its golden age cuz my laptop was having difficult techibical issues and overheating problems which drove me into headache and I brought my laptop to other computer shops to troubleshoot it but all those guys gave up and told me my computer was imposible to fix and they asked me to continue to use this unstable laptop until I found impress computer through google reviews and recommendations- I was greet by two awesome employees there named Mr. Roy and Marlon- they aided me to fill in the check-in forms carefully and ensured me that they would do their best efforts to have my laptop like brand new.

After one day, mr. hazem gave me the call and we had the good conversations about how he gonna replace the damaged components and reinstall the more powerful disk drive and window product for me. I received my laptop back and checked it again to make sure my laptop is in stable condition at the Starbucks store- everything is smooth again and now I can enjoy my games and do my home-works without annoying popped up erroRs and FPS heavy drop.

Thanks god for leading me to this wonderful computer doctors- I will return to the store again and introduce it to my other friends- good business and friendly customer services.

I had a couple of failed fans in my laptop. I dropped it off and they did a diagnosis on it. Got back to me fairly quickly with what it needed so I could authorize the work. They gave me an approximate finish date and then beat that estimate by a couple of days. Very much quality work and Professional Service. The cost was less than I expected by at least $50. I highly recommend impress computers.

My laptop wouldn't charge while I was out of town, so I took it to the store chain where I had bought it. When the different plugs didn't help, I was given a quote for $450 and 3 weeks to ship it away and replace the mother board, as the electronics store told me was necessary. I declined. When I returned home, I brought it to Impress Computers.

They told me they would order a replacement for the DC outlet and repair it for $150. It would take a few days. Done! They kept me posted on the repair as it progressed; their people were personable and professional. We are very fortunate to have such an excellent computer repair shop in Katy! Thanks!

Yet another 5 star review. Here's the story. I had a 7 year old I Mac. It had run its course but I didn't pay attention to the fact that the hard drive was failing. I waited too long and took the very heavy machine over to Simply Mac over in La Centerra. They told me it would cost about $1000 to send my drive to some 3rd party repair facility to extract all of the data.

I shelved the mission and put the hard drive up in a desk. 2 years later we are moving and so the question came up and my devastated wife who queried how could you leave 8000 photos on there and not be smart enough to rip them off before the hard drive died? I thought of Impress Computers and how they had help me before so I gave them a call and I spoke to Marlon.

He said bring the drive over and let me work with it and 2 days later he was pleased to tell me that they only charged me $200 to extract all the data and I put it on a $79 solid state external hard drive. What time I gave my wife the result and she was over the moon happy. I learned my lesson about letting a hard drive die but I learned an even better lesson. and that is to never call anybody else but to give these guys a call 1st. You will never be sorry

This is the place to take your computer to get it fixed! I took my computer in for repair, I was expecting at least $100.00 dollars of repair, but it only cost me 1/10 of the that among. Roy was wonderfully knowledgeable and extremely nice. He went and above and beyond to explain why it is not necessary to repair the computer, but a simple $11 dollars add on would do the job.

That prove to me they are honest and to be trusted. They are very knowledgeable here. Make sure you asked for Roy. He is the man for your computer need. You can make sure next time I need something to do with computers, I will be back here for sure.

I had problems with my computer. the manufacture sent the wrong part, the computer data was needed, I was frustrated as I had a report due and the info was on that computer. Roland, calm and collected, solved the problem, was in communication and got me up and running with an alternate solution. Very impressive. They will get my business again and again.
