Fairly new ham had a stroke can no longer work so these contest give me hope that some day i could have a realy nice radio giga parts have always been helpful customer service is awesome i highly recommend anybody looking for anything ham radio related start our search here i just wish we had a store here in central california somewhere thats it for now 73 EVERYBODY AJ6PD from California

When the price of an LDG Antenna Tuner that I purchased online on the Gigaparts website went on sale a few days later for $100 less than I paid for it (on account of the Gigaparts Dayton Ham Convention special sale), I placed a BuySafe claim for my purchase. Sue from Gigaparts was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with this. The process turned out to be quite easy.

The refund ($100) arrived very quickly from BuySafe. I have been a Gigaparts customer for many years. I fully trust them with my radio gear purchases. So let me again thank you Gigaparts, Sue, and BuySafe.

I bought a programming cable and software from Gigaparts. What I didn't know is this cable and I bought the wrong one for my radio, it would only work for programming, not a firmware update. I called their support who told me that it is not possible to return or exchange for the right one because there is a software license in the box. I then worked with Janell who was fantastic. She facilitated a return and credited the money back to my credit card. Thank you!

Giving this place 4 stars, because they have a decently priced and good selection of computer parts for a local store. However - You will not walk in here without being questioned by at least one person and recommended all sorts of products. In my particular experience, I knew exactly what I was looking for and wanted to just grab it and go. I even said, "I know what I'm looking for" the first time I was asked if I needed help finding anything.

Immediately after, I had a sales associate quiz me on my PC build specs and try to recommend me more expensive products that I knew I didn't need. I felt a little "mansplained" to, but I understood he was just doing his job and tried not to let it bother me. This aggressive sales driven environment is the only reason I bumped it down to 4 stars.

The charge 15% restocking fee on returns supposedly. It appears that they refunded less than what they were supposed to (less than 85%) of what I paid. I'd rather buy from someone else. I don't like being nickeled and dimed like this.

I will say how very pleased I was when chatting with Brent about a radio. He was very informative and shared a ton of information with me on the unit and other things. There was absolutely no sales pitch just great information that I'm truly grateful for. Because of how Brent treated me and provided me great information I'm purchasing my unit through Gigaparts. BTW. 2 other competitors did not even come close to Brent. Thank you again!

Giga Parts will not give you the customer service you deserve. They fall back on the manufacturers terms to deny good customers the rebates they advertise but cannot deliver. Beware ordering from this company.

Very good Service answered all my questions and even though prices are a bit high on some items in this world today what should we expect. They ship fast even though shipping companies lose or deliver late many times these days. Always been friendly and I love the most recent item I purchased best antenna I have bought in years.

I created an account on the web site and started to gather my items to organize them and do research, I finally moved a few items to my shopping cart and placed an order for a new radio and a few accessories. My order was "on hold" for approx. 6 calendar days and my credit card showed the charge pending, looked pretty typical. I checked a few times to see if there was any activity but still showed on hold.

I received an email finally from Customer Service that stated something very strange "your order did not pass our risk management system.and would be cancelled". I was shocked, when I inquired why, they were "unable to prove the details". I called on the phone several times but the hold time was greater than 10 minutes, so I give up. This is no way to treat a new customer and I will not do business with them in the future, no matter the price.

For the lack of explanation and information, I would STAY AWAY from GigaParts for anything. I placed my same order and more with DX Engineering, and have already received my equipment.

I ordered some guy rope a month ago. It showed as in stock. Then I get a message they were out of stock and I'd have to wait two months to get it. I called. No information. After another month I get a message it would take at least two more months. It's pretty clear they are lying to me. Either they have no intention of ordering this and are hoping I will cancel the order or perhaps they prices it wrong and don't want to take a loss.

For whatever reason this company is not being honest with me. I cancelled my order. I do not intend to do business with them again. Compare them to other companies that are honest, ship promptly, don't lie about inventory, and give accurate information, why would anyone trust these fools? I strongly recommend you choose another vendor.

After ordering an item from Gigaparts and it was the wrong cable with the product. I spoke with a female representative which tried to refer me to the company that made the product i explained to her that i bought the product from Gigaparts and i feel Gigaparts should handle it the issue. She explained she had no experience or knowledge of the electronic items they sell.

I then asked to speak to a manager. She connected me to another female representative that once again asked me to contact the company i refused and told her i would like to return the item. She then agreed to contact the company. She then returned and said that i could contact the company and order a different cable and pay extra because they didn't have one in stock.

I refused to pay anymore and filed a return online, The cost of the item including the cable and shipping was $131.00 i then paid $8.00 shipping to send it back and they only refunded $98.00 of the $131.00 + shipping. They charged a restocking fee. I'm not even going to waste my time with this company and their terrible customer service trying to recover the money they ripped me off of but i will share my negative experience.

Don't waste your time. This store is not worth it. They're more of a radio store rather than a "computer equipment" store. We had a woman in glasses, long hair in a ponytail and a striped long sleeve shirt; discriminate us. She kept following and staring at us along with another woman who worked at the front desk. My husband was asking about a graphics card and the woman replied like he was too poor to afford it.

Then she stops the conversation to ask my husband if "I'm with him". Mind you I'm the only brown person in the ENTIRE store. She kept following me and staring at me. And keep in mind too that this entire store has very low shelves and is practically EMPTY. Never again. They price gouge.

Don't know anything about radios but they had a monitor that was out of stock at all of the big box stores. Ordered on Thanksgiving night and with free shipping was delivered to CT on the following Monday! Well done!

I've been a ham now for about 40 years. I just been able to get a few new HF radios and HTs from them over the last 6 months. I've spent over $5000 there on new radios, when I had a technical questions I got answers. As for telephone support, there Customer service is super. Two people I've talk to that have been super helpful to me were Dallas and Sue Stephens KM4DLM. I'd like to see them get 10,000 attaboys and attagirls from their bosses. And maybe a raise too! Great place for electronics and HAM radio gear/supplies. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. It is nice having such a store in Huntsville. A place you can go and talked to people and not just order items on line.

I have spent thousands of dollars here, I'll never give them another dime. There price's are good and that's all that's good. There customer service stinks. Some of the items sent were defective, they expect you to pay shipping to you and back on defective items (wont turn on), they say its the manufacturers fault, not their problem. One would think a retailer would stand behind what they sell. BUYER BEWARE. Use DXengineering or Ham Radio, they stand behind what they sell.

I have been a customer of GigaParts since Sept. 2017. I buy Amateur Radio equipment from them. I recently purchased 2 mobile antenna mounts from them. About $65 each. They had the wrong mount for my rack so I returned them both for a refund. They charged me a re-stock fee, they said one of them was mounted on the vehicle and that was a complete lie. I argued with them and they would not waive the restock fee. I had an outstanding $320 order with them and I cancelled it. I will never do business with them again.

$79 right off the top but it went towards the final bill. Had to reload the IOS and windows. Took a while over Christmas but the computer runs great now.

Been shopping with GigaParts, Inc. for over 17 years. GigaParts always has the latest and greatest computer hardware from Intel, AMD and Nvidia. They also have everything you need to get on the Air for Ham Radio.

Sometime last week my desktop decided to go to sleep and not wake up. This upset me, so I called up Gigaparts and they were closed for the day. Damn. I took my computer in the next morning and within a couple hours the tech called me to let me know of the problem. The problem? I suck at computers. My OS was corrupt. They fixed it up in an hour and my Dell is back to awesome.

I didn't expect to be called for a few days. They called within a few hours, great service! The best thing about all of this was the price. I didn't comparison shop with Geek Squad or anyone else, but I'm pretty sure this is a good price. One hour of labor to fix the problem was $49. Add the $35 for the initial review to figure out the problem and the grand total was $89. A small price to fix my computer if you ask me, and did I mention there was no data loss?
