I pay for 1 GBPS and barely reach speeds of 100mbps Constantly. They charge ridiculous fees to change your plan or cancel. I highly recommend anywhere else

So money grubby! You pay past due amount and they wont re connect until you pay the current balance thats not even pasr due! Wow, never heard of such greed! Please help me find a better place to get internet in DC. We have been loyal customers for 7 years and get treated like that.

I called prior to moving into our new home and was told that installation would be 2-4 weeks out. I ordered 6 weeks prior to moving in believing that the internet would be installed before or shortly after moving in. While following up, I was continually told 2-4 weeks out. After 10 weeks passed I asked to speak with a manager. She was very helpful in letting me know that she had over 2000 installs scheduled and she DID NOT have time to follow up on my installation (hope all Roseburg small businesses are this busy).

I have continued to call every week or two. There are no longer any references as to how long it will be. I guess they decided not to provide me with more time frames that they have no intention of meeting. It has now been six months and I have no idea if I will ever actually get internet installed in our home. If you have other internet options I suggest you go with them. In the mean time I will write our representatives and push for more competition in all utilities.

DFN had discontinued service in my area and only offers fiber optic which wasn't an option for me. I confirmed on at least 2 occasions that by the end of service in my area I would not be switching. I was given the hard date of Oct 1st service was no longer available, I noticed on my The Hub app I had been charged so I emailed confirming I had new service. Nov 1 I noticed another charge so I called, stated DFN had been sending letters and calling with the shut off date of Oct 1.

She said she would take care of it. But I continued to receive bills. When I went into the office the male was rude and not even a acknowledging what I was saying. I offered the letters that DFN kept sending me and he continued to talk circles and day I owed the bill. He stated the person I talked to turned in a work order to cancel Nov 31 and I owe for that.

I asked why I would need to call in a work order if DFN is the one who canceled my service. I asked for his supervisor who was in an office right by who I heard state she found my correspondence. He told me they would get back to me on their decision. DFN canceled the service available to me, how am I responsible for them not shutting it off the day they stated. His rehearsed statements lead me to believe this is an issue with them. Horrible customer service and very unprofessional. Im sti being charged.

When reporting issues in-house tech support tells you one issue, theirs, but when the field tech arrives it's not DFN's problem it's yours and can they come in to test without disclosing $$$. Bait and Switch? Non-Disclosure? Regardless hey still want their dollars and will not discuss.

Moved into our new house in August. We paid for a deposit to get internet and we're told it would take 8 weeks before it would be connected. After 8 weeks of not receiving internet nor any updates we were told it would be another 8 weeks that the workers were swamped and couldn't get up to our property yet. After that we called again and they told us they were working on it.

It has now been over 5 months they have openly lied about work being done. No one in our community has seen a single DFN truck and we have a tight nit community. There's supposedly a break in our line an I don't understand how they could be "working on it" when no one has come around. I would absolutely not recommend going through them. We are only still waiting on them because we live out of town an unfortunately they are the only ones that provide internet out here.

I have a coworker who had a similar situation happen waiting for them to upgrade to the fiber line at her house. If you have the option, save yourself the trouble an go through a different internet provider. One who is reliable.

This company, if you can call it that, is a horrific deception of lies and excuses. Do not go through them. Over 5 months of waiting for Internet when I was told 8-12 weeks. No work has been done on the "trenching" that they have been doing for 5 months. Openly lying about doing work, lying about time frames, all after happily taking our money for our registration fee. The owner should be ashamed of DFN

UPDATE 2 months later we finally got internet. I asked them more than 5 different times how much it would be to hook up internet. They said $109 a month plus a $75 install fee. WELLLLL we get our first bill $300! This is a joke. Emailed them. No reply Called in around December 15th 2020 to set up internet at the new house. Here it is 1/30/2021 still waiting.

No updates unless we call in but it's been the same excuses for the last 5 weeks. This is insane. Told them my business is taking a hit but they don't care. Giving them one more week and going to charter. Very very bad.

From the construction of laying the fiber optic line where communication within the company to communication with the home owner (me) was bad to say the least. Example! not giving complete installation spec's, telling me AFTER we laid 420' of conduit we needed a pull box every 350'. Installing the vaults along the road wherever, having little to do with the flagging laid out prior by or for DFN itself.

The surveyor for the company was out here three times and gave the distinct impression he just woke up and not quite sure what he was doing here. The internet is not faster it is the same if not a little slower and now this month my bill went up $6.12
