We moved after 7 years to our current location next to Sears. Preheim Computers offers both onsite and carry in computer repairs. We can perform a diagnostic on your computer and make recommendations to improve your PC's performance. Often we can increase your performance by 20% or more just by adding a low cost memory upgrade. Should we find that we can't help your PC's performance, we also have great prices on a new computer or laptop. Unlike many of the BIG stores we are there to support you with your new PC purchase.
Services
Q: When will my computer be ready? A: While we would love to give you an exact day and time of when your computer will be done, we are not able to. We work on every machine in the order it was received. We have several different techs working each day on up to 10 different machine each day. This makes it impossible to promise a specific return time.

I have done business with Brady Preheim for 15 years for my business and personal computers. He is extremely knowledgeable and the only person I will trust with my network. Often he comes in after 8PM so he doesn't interrupt my business. He has solved problems both remotely and on site. I find his advice invaluable.

First and foremost let me start by saying that I don't typically leave bad reviews. Small businesses are the heart of this community, but this was something I couldn't let go. Their tech service may be ok - BUT DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THE RETAIL SIDE. They sell sub-par computers and refuse to replace, per their policy, with a working model. Got in a huge argument over the owner about the validity of using a laptop processor in a desktop unit. (Be very wary when purchasing refurbished computers from here) When I got the unit I realized it took a low-power cord vs. the traditional desktop power.
That should have been my first clue to turn and run; but alas - I didn't heed my gut warnings. When I got back to my office and plugged in the unit I found it was running on an AMD E2 -1800 Radeon processor. That processor would be fine in a netbook, but in a desktop, it wouldn't even allow for me to open an internet window, let alone function within it.
When this was brought to the owner's attention he refused to take the computer back and said he would replace it with an i3 (which is what I assumed was in it originally) for $50 more. After much argument on the validity of the machine at any cost (let alone the $250 I paid) he insisted that was the type of rebuilds he stands behind. Don't be taken advantage of.

Horrible business. Said they fixed my computer by uploading windows 7 back on to it 2 weeks later it's not working once again and I take it in with recite with me anfor until he pointed it out I didnt realise he had put on my recite upgraded to Windows 10 I had in fact not been upgraded I told him open my computer it says windows 7 he then ordered me out of the store or he would call the cops.
I was not rude and my boyfriend was present when I had picked up my computer the first time and he had told me he recommended windows ten for another 60 dollars. I had declined because windows 7 was fixed and is in fact still supported by Microsoft. Needless to say I will not ever return and I will always recommend people not take anything electronic to them. Very rude unprofessional and fraudulent

I don't usually make it a habit of bashing local businesses but if you have a 3 yr old child, take your computer to them first. No help whatsoever. This shop charged me $15 for diagnostics that I already told them I had done and when asked if they had done the other stuff that they said they were going to do the guy just said no and held out his hand for the money, and I don't even want to talk about getting an update on your repair I was practically hung up on and told if you haven't got a call they haven't got to it yet. Lousy service, bad techs, and a horrible business. I took my hard drive home and had it working within minutes after being told it was failing.
