Listen to a live interview with Don Anderson of Tri-State Data Recovery with National Business Radio of New York City. We understand the importance of your data which is why we've invested a over a decade traveling the globe for training using the most state of the art technology available in the industry combined with collaborations with some of the best engineers in the world.
Tri-State Data Recovery has recovered thousands of hard drives for data recovery. We are so devoted to providing the best possible recovery attempt that we continuously participate in international training courses overseas on the most advanced technology in hard drive data recovery. We accept all hard drives and server RAID arrays with any configuration along with any desktop, laptop or portable hard drive with any interface. Hard drive data recovery consists of three levels of recovery based on difficulty and skill level from 1-3.
A level one data recovery can be performed from most local computer shops using paid software suites. This type of recovery is the least complex in data recovery and only is performed on good, healthy drives with logical problems. A quick test should be performed on the drive before attempting to run any software on the drive.
A level two data recovery is the beginning stages of hard drive failure. This could be bad sectors developing, firmware corruption or even shorted printed circuit boards or (PCB). Special hardware is required to work with these damaged drives like the European PC3000 or the DeepSpar so we can actually target the sectors of the drive that contain important data and not waste time trying to recover areas that contain no data or irrelevant data. This is important because the drive can fail again during the process.

Don was a life saver with being able to save my files. I had a passport external drive and it wasn't loading to my Mac or any other devices. I asked around and was directed to Don. I was super happy that he was local and I could drive to his office. I really didn't want to mail my drive somewhere. I wanted to be able to have a conversation and be able to trust the person with my files. Don is very knowledgeable, kind and I trust him.
I spoke with him on the phone and then delivered my drive later that day. He was able to take a look at it and was able to save about 95% of my files. WONDERFUL! The drive had business files, personal files and photos on it. He did such a wonderful job and was quick. I was able to pickup the recovered files within the week. Thank You Don! I really appreciate it! :

Tri-State Data Recovery was recommended by a local tech company when my external hard drive failed. It contained a lot of important documents and files, including irreplaceable photos. Don was able to work his magic and recover everything from the old hard drive. While I hope to not need his services again, I will absolutely use Tri-State if ever needed. And I will highly recommend Tri-State to anyone who needs data recovery. Fantastic work!

He was easy to talk to and always answered my calls. Me NOT being a computer guy totally understood his directions and advice. When my external hard drive stopped working and on it was all of my company information my heart stopped. Not knowing what to do, of course I went to the geek squad. They were actually the ones that referred me to him. Thank goodness they did!
He recovered all of my information and files and SAVED THE DAY! He put everything on a stick and explained how to retrieve the info i so desperately needed for my quick books program. I am back up and running.

Don of Tri-State Data Recovery was very professional and knowledgeable in terms of how he handled my failed TB drive. He exceeded our expectations - from signing of the first form, to keeping us informed, and ultimately to the delivery of backed up data fully recovered from the failed device. I highly recommend Don and TSDS to anyone looking for a reasonably priced data recovery solution from a plethora of drives of different makes and models. Thank YOU, Don!

Short: Don is excellent at his job. Recovered everything lost on two old RAID 0 mechanical drives that had been fried by a power surge. Would recommend to anyone who would like to retrieve lost data. Long: Don went through a huge amount of effort with my drives that presented a particular challenge. Don had to fix the original issue the power surge caused, problems another data recovery place caused, and returned the damaged drives in working condition.
After recovering the data it was transferred to an external drive included in the price he gave. When I arrived to pick it up he gave me time to look through the data he recovered so that I could verify everything was there. Don truly knows what he is doing I would recommend his services for any size job. His prices are fair, he is professional, and just seems like a nice guy. He will also offer you help if you need it setting up a better backup solution.

We had a hard drive from an old PC from 2009 that I took to Don on a Friday. He called me back on Monday with the results of his diagnostic run and a price to have the work done should I wish to proceed. I picked up the salvaged contents of the drive on Wednesday. I did not ask for a "rush job" or put any expectations on Don for when I needed the job done yet was impressed with the speed at which he turned everything around.
When he called on Monday he was very detailed on explaining what was done to the drive and upfront with the cost. No surprises when I picked up the the data on Wednesday. He also took the time to explain file protection/backup options that he recommends to help protect the contents of our computer in the future. Lucky for us, all we needed from the 2009 drive were family photos and videos we wanted back!

My hard drive failed and of course I did not back this particular drive up this time. I had a lot of important files and none of my computers would read the drive at all. I did some research and Tri-State had some of the best reviews. Definitely worth the ride to drop off the drive in person. Don was professional and really helpful. Going in, I knew it would be pricey but it was worth every penny because he was able to recover 100% of the files on my drive. Don really saved my bacon! If this happens to you, then Tri-State should be the first call you make!
