USB-C stands for "Universal Serial Bus Type-C", a newer type of USB connector that was introduced in 2015. It supports the USB 3.1 specification which can produce data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, and more recently USB 3.2, which can produce data transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps. Unlike the previous USB-A (common rectangular shape), USB-B (square shape), USB mini and micro connectors that could only be plugged into a device one way, the USB-C connector is reversible, meaning you can easily connect it in either orientation without worrying about plugging it in the wrong way.

The second item is something you have, such as a physical cell phone that an access code may sent to, or your fingerprint. I found Ted to be both personable, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend him for his abilities, as well as willingness to explain what's happened.
