Hands down one of the most professional and nicest human beings I have come across. The fact he took care of my problem in 15 minutes compared to us having to wait 2 weeks to get in to see an apple specialist says volumes about this guy. He is one of the few that truly just wants to help. I'm speechless.

Jason works in the Denton location. He is the most knowledgeable Apple certified technician out there. He is also very good at communicating with the customer about the issues with the machines and is eager to offer advice only someone as well-learned as he could provide. Highly recommended.

Here's one of the GREATEST computer repair companies in North Texas. Not only did Mac Tracks repair my outdated apple computer but they also upgraded my 1TB hard drive to a 3TB hard drive courtesy of exceptional customer services. We highly recommend Mac Tracks to anyone looking to successfully fix any problems involving Apple computers. Thanks again!

Highly recommend. Not only did they fix my problem, but gave me in depth knowledge of the issue and ways to avoid it in the future. On top of that they saved me quite a bit of money and gave me recommendations on how to upgrade my unit in the years to come. The customer care was personalized and I felt that I left my laptop in great hands. I will always use them for repairs going forward!

I called asking if they could replace my trackpad on my MacBook Pro and I asked for a price. The manager refused to quote a price for a trackpad stating I would have to bring in my MacBook Pro first and pay for the diagnostic evaluation and that amount would go to any repair and product purchase. I offered to give him all information to identify the exact MacBook Pro so that he could give me an estimate for the replacement trackpad.

He refused. I also pointed out that they had actually worked on my MacBook Pro before and so they had all the information in their system to refer to in the first place but that did not matter to the manager. I asked if I could speak with the owner and the manager told me that "the owner was not a technician" and then hung up on me. HORRIBLE!

After a bad customer service experience I can no longer recommend Mactracks. I caught tech being dishonest and doubling the price of parts I could ordered myself for half of what I was quoted.

I would leave zero stars if I could. I brought my MacBook in after the keyboard stopped working when the apple store recommended this place. I brought it in and paid for the diagnosis service. I called back that day and asked if I could cancel since no work had been done yet. I was called back and told they completely understood and could cancel it.

However they still charged me and would not refund or offer any kind of credit or do to the work paid for. Why would anyone cancel a diagnostic service if it still had to be paid for? Instead of offering to discuss this or meet me halfway at all, I got nothing from them. I should have known to expect bad customer service when the person I dropped it off with was very blunt and did not explain the service or agreement at all and just had me sign a tablet without explaining what it was for.

I have been here before and the gentleman that time was top quality and the customer service was amazing. For that reason alone I drove all the way from Frisco, passing dozens of Mac repair shops, to come back here. Unfortunately the guy working today was an A**. We all live in a new world with Covid, and most places I go I'm pleased to find that politeness and customer service have improved since the outbreak.

People are more friendly and compassionate. Well this guy was a jerk. An absolute horses butt as my grandma used to say. Save your time. Go anywhere else. There are so many businesses struggling during these times that I hope make it. Support one of them. This is one business where the metroplex will be just fine if it fails. They will blame the virus, but those who have been there will know that it was just bad service that killed it.

I reached out to Mactracks and was super disappointed with their phone service. They were completely reluctant to give me their inflated prices over the phone, then they told me they couldn't do what I needed for under $1000, so I asked what can we do, then they said a bunch of numbers for half a terabyte and a terabyte then a couple quotes for service with and without Data.

Then I asked what the total would be for the one terabyte and the data and the guy said, "you can do the math. I'm not even supposed to tell you the prices over the phone." I told him I was not interested in that lack of transparency. Completely ridiculous that this group deals with Mac owners. I did not make a purchase or pursue this purchase further with this vendor.

Jason helped me to get some applications back that I thought I had lost. He was awesome. In and out in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this place for computer issues.

When the Apple Store told me I'd have to give up my computer for 3-5 business days to get my battery replaced, I knew there had to be a better way. And there was! Mactracks took great care of me. I called ahead to tell them what I needed. They assured me it was in stock and that I could wait for the replacement to be installed. It took me longer to drive there from McKinney than it did for them to fix it. I was truly surprised at the turnaround time. Additionally, they were about $100 cheaper than the quoted Apple Store price. i would absolutely use them for my future needs.

My Mac book circa 2010 model would not book up. I have had terrible experiences with the Apple store especially on an older model Macbook. I took my computer in right as they Mactracks was closing on Monday morning and my computer was done Tuesday before 1pm. I understand that this is not a normal occurrence. I was told that they were caught up and they could get to my computer soon than later.

I paid my $45.00 plus tax consult fee which was taken out of my full total of my repair. The staff at Mactracks did not only fix my computer they gave me great tips on how to handle my antique computer. I would highly recommend them.

Very bad experience. The moment I walked in, shown a form to be filled on the iPad. I told the tech that Apple referred me for the macpro issue, as it is an older model. He took the laptop in, while I was filling up the form. He didn't even bother to tell me anything about the charges until I filled the form. He SIMPLY said, please swipe your credit card.

The crazy place charged ~$50 for telling me that your laptop is dead, which I was aware already. Apple told me there would not be charges to check, but this place rips you with a ~$50 invoice. The technician said, the analysis would take 2 hours to complete, but received an email with the quote within 10 minutes. I received the quote for more than $500 to fix the 2011 Mac Pro, which anyone would call as madness. Don't go here, rather ask Apple to tell you a place, which will be ethical in what they do.

I've been here three times in the past and they're amazing. Jeff is awesome, and they've kept my 2011 Macbook Pro running in tip-top shape. They're always honest and will talk with you and fill you with as much info as you want. (I have a background in component-level electronics repair, and they're always super great about giving you the pros and cons of different scenarios, and how Apple has changed their models over time.) They're refreshingly honest, and you get what you pay for! Don't go online to do this stuff yourself - take advantage of their knowledge base and awesome staff!

***PLEASE SOUND THE ALARM**** DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT take your Apple products to these guys. They are HORRIBLE! Let me say it again. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT take your Mac to this HORRIBLE place. Approximately 2 weeks ago I took my Macbook Pro in to have the board fixed and while it was there I paid $200 for a "NEW" battery including installation. (BIG RIP OFF).

After picking it up I get home (45 min away) charge it up only to discover that I am experiencing the exact same thing. The battery only lasted approximately an hour and died at 24%. I called and spoke with (JEFF) explained this to them and was told to come back out for another replacement (another 45 min drive). I was also told that sometimes they get dud battery from vendors.

I get home with the "second" replacement battery and it is doing the exact same thing. I Call back again and spoke with Jeff who was very rude and tried to insinuate that I was somehow causing the problem as a user. I explained that I was using it normally and that I have no reason to make something up. I told him I didn't have time to continue dealing with this and taking time to drive 45 min to their shop. Ultimately, he suggested to me that he was going to call the manufacturer and let them know their products were defective.

He also told me that when I came to have them install the 3rd new battery (ordered from Amazon) that I would receive a full refund for what I paid. This was 12 days ago. NO ONE called me at all. I finally called them today and no one was answering. Keep in mind this was mid-afternoon when they are clearly open for business. After called a 6th time they finally answer.

I speak with Jeff and reiterate our previous discussion only to now be told that he would not provide me with a refund because he tested the battery and it is working fine. He then suggested that is must be user error. How in the world can I harm a "BRAND NEW" battery that is internally housed? I explained to him that I've been waiting 12 days to hear back from him and the only reason we spoke today is that I called him. Had I not called I would never have heard from him.

After going back an forth with this guy and explaining that it was not me it was the batteries, he was incredibly rude and refused to keep the refund agreement HE gave to me. I finally had to drive (45 min) AGAIN back to the shop to have the supposedly new one he ordered for me installed. When I arrived I asked to speak with Jeff since HE was the one I was dealing with.

I was told he was on a call. The guy took my computer and installed what I'm told is a new battery. I've been home now and its been on the charger for 30 min and has only gone from 26% to 31%. To top it off, there was NO apology for everything that happened. No customer empathy AT ALL! In the end, I was swindled out of $200, made 4 trips to this place and I still have a HORRIBLE CHEAP battery.

As you can see from ALL of the other horrible reviews this is NOT a one off. This is a COMMON REGULAR occurrence for these place. ***PLEASE SOUND THE ALARM**** DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT take your Apple products to these guys. They are HORRIBLE!

This is the second machine of mine I've brought to MacTracks to repair. One was a very obscure permissions bug having to do with TimeMachine on a Western Digital desktop USB2 Drive under Lion. but this time: Retina MacBook battery replacement after three+ years of heavy use. While the costs were more than I expected (battery replacement required purchase of the lower case assembly as the battery is glued in - I think this requirement is Apple's decision not MacTracks') the timeframe for replacement was considerably faster than I anticipated: 3 days. (Apple's battery replacement for my MacBook Pro was over a week when I had it done a few years ago.) I have recommended MacTracks to friends and family, and will continue to do so. These folks know what they're doing!

This company was a mess to work with. I brought my computer in for repair under my Apple care plus, and they told me they would have it done for me in 5-7 business days. They immediately charged me 108 dollars and I complied. On the fifth business day they called me saying they hadn't fixed the computer because they needed more money due to "water damage." Expecting to have my computer back at this time, I just went in to get my computer so I could have it fixe at Apple, and they only refunded me 16 dollars saying that I had to pay a diagnostic fee. I am never using this service again and I don't believe Apple should use them as Apple service providers. They do not live up to the service standards at all!

I'm a huge customer service person and I must admit my service was exceptional. From the secretary at the front desk to my extremely patient tech JUSTIN! Justin was extremely kind and answered all of my questions without any frustration. I'm not the most computer savvy person so of course I had a ton of questions and he answered each one thoroughly and left me feeling as though I could trust the service in which i was being provided.

I love the fact that they don't have to send your computer or phones away in order to diagnose the problem. because lord knows I don't have the patients to be without my phone or my computer.lol I'm not even a Native of dallas ( Just visiting ) and I'd fly all the way back just because i'm a sucker for great service! So Thank you JUSTIN S. for being so kind and helpful.

I came to Mactracks extremely frustrated and left you guys smiling like i just ate a piece of chocolate cake! hahaha. (you just never know how much great customer service can change someones day) Blessings to you all.

Worst service, don't bring anything to fix here. For something that they can not rip off customer such as iPhone battery replacement for $29, they will find all excuses to turn you away beginning with an email from the manager sent below, and when arriving at the facility. In terms of iPhones we are a bit limited on what we are allowed to do on the spot, in which case you might be better off going to an Apple Store.

We cannot guarantee batteries on the spot due to limited staffing and hours, there is a strong chance we cannot service your device. We are at this time extremely limited on battery stock because they are so popular right now. When I arrived at the appointment time, the technician turned on my iPhone, immediately he said the home button is not working right, it has to be fixed before replacing the battery.

When I said nothing wrong with the home button, he took the phone to the back for 15 minutes then came back and told me they can not replace the battery because of some white powder inside when they opened the phone. I took the phone to the "real" Apple store, they replaced the battery within an hour without any issue. When I asked the Apple Genius tech if there is any issue with the phone, she said other than the battery, the phone works just fine.

When I told the tech what happened with Mactracks, she said because battery replacement is only $29 now from $79, some Apple authorized service like Mactracks is not making money and does not want to do it, that's why they tried to make all kind of excuses to turn people with battery replacement away. Apple should do something about this.

They didn't have the parts needed for my laptop battery repair. wish I called and asked before I came. But they're professional, incredibly helpful, and the space is fairly easy to locate so I'll give them 5 stars anyway.

Expensive and they asked the price of 519 for harddisk replacement for 2011 Mac Pro ( costs 700 now:(). I have already told them what the issue is but they charged $48 and if I don't accept for 519, I have to loose that 48. Apple guys told me that costs 180$ but these guys asked 519. Terrible. Bad experience, never again

Went to MacTracks and worked with Issac! Total pro. My old 17" PowerBook finally died for good and Issac Swapped my ssd-drive to new enclosure and saved all my programs, data etc. Even set the "new" drive up as bootable - plugged it into my new mac and transferred everything with ease! Even did the whole service while I waited - 20 min tops! I recommend you consider MacTracks when faced with Macintosh service issues! Well done!

The logic board on my macbook pro laptop needed to be replaced. Through Mactracks, I was able to get Apple to cover the new logic board and pay for the installation fee. I only had to pay for the diagnostics fee. I was very happy with the service provided by Mactracks. Andrew was able to give me a good deal and I could not be happier. I would have had to pay out of pocket if I had taken this to the Apple Store directly. This place does an excellent job and I love to people that work there. They are knowledgeable and very well connected with the Apply Industry.

Well hello if you had read my last review. You may disregard that Jason & Susan had extended olive branch Meaning there was a misunderstanding of how & what was said. And I had gotten my MacBook Air repaired by them. I had turned in the computer to them around 4:30 and I was getting a call around 12 the next day to say it was ready. Now before you go nuts Not every problem can be fixed in a day or less than 24 hours for that matter.

Here is what you are getting here: Customer Service Friendly Service Respect for who you are Efficient service Thorough explanation Gratitude for being a customer Just to list a few things.
