Computer Doc

The owner came out to my house in hopes to fix my wifi that randomly went out. We have nighthawk system which he implied was no good although it was recently just bought, then he proceeds with saying our "power strip was cheap and could also be a reason" (although it worked just fine the last 13 years). We went to best buy to replace the nighthawk system and bought a surge protector.

He made it clear this was the issue and once we got back it would only take him 30 mins to setup because he knew exactly what it was. Once we got back 30 mins turned into 2 hours. He's a computer doc and has been for 37 years but somehow spent 5 1/2 hours at our house and couldn't understand let alone determine the problem. He even programmed one of the nighthawks to turn blue because i informed him on it not being.

Once he left the wifi was still going in and out. Next day comes and the wifi is completely down. We called and the guy in the office kept saying " he is on another big job and i will have him call" he never called. He stayed at our house just to receive more money (charging 130 per hour), just to find out the only issue with the wifi was the cord connected to the modem running to the router was no good!

Being a computer doc he should have caught that but instead he was so money hungry that he told us everything else in the world was wrong with the wifi. I would not recommend anyone to Kevin. An AWFUL experience.

Jon was the best. I was having so much trouble with my computer. It was so slow with so many pop ups. I hated going on it. I was ready to throw it against a wall. I'm also new to Windows 10 and hated it. He explained it to me and made it seem so easy. Got my computer back today and I am enjoying it so much. Thank you Jon your the best.

These guys are amazing! Honest and intelligent people are far as I can tell.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Actually this review is overdue because the first time my laptop was hit with a bad virus but John came to the RESCUE! He really did save me from losing YEARS of valuable documents and for that I will be forever grateful! This visit was more proactive where my husband purchased me a new laptop and John was able to ensure everything was transferred over successfully.

Had a virus on my old windows 7 computer, took it in and he fixed it. Took a little longer that he thought. based on my conversation with him and his demeanor.it was apparently a very nasty virus. I could see that he couldn't wait to see it go out the door.but he really wanted to be sure that I was happy with it and that it worked. It is 2 weeks later now and it still works fine. I thought it was a little expensive at $150.00 for the job.but he clearly sweated over it and it works great now. I would recommend this business and return in the future.

I brought my computer in because it was hacked and locked up with serious issues regarding infected and encrypted files. Chris did an excellent job solving all the issues and saving everything that was on my computer. But more than that Chris spent time with me on the phone a few days later regarding new found issues with the reinstalling and connection to my printer and also issues with my personal email address.

Where other tech support people failed to help with those two issue it was Chris that solved these problems for me in a matter of minutes. I would highly recommend Chris and Computer Docs to anyone and for all that was done for me the cost was extremely reasonable considering the time he spent on all these problems.

Excellent service, extremely knowledgeable, and fixed what i thought was lost forever in less than a day and price was amazing! Forget big box stores, this place is great, would highly recommend! And they will come to you also! THey do it all, give them a try!

Service was fantastic from office staff to field rep. I called first thing in the morning and received same day service. Kevin had our printer installed and running within 30 mins after arrival. Very professional and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend Computer Doc and will use them in the future!

Kevin has been our go to guy for anything computer related for over 15 years. He has always been professional, courteous, honest and ethical. We are at a point that we have Kevin build all of our desk tops and, although not the cheapest, we feel the value for money spent is the best option. We have no need to go elsewhere and have no reason to even consider other options.

I called and left them a message to fix the computer that i purchased from them little over a year ago still waiting for them to return my message from over 2 months ago. I have learned the only way to talk to them is going to there location.

Kevin and his team go above and beyond to help the customer. He will actually come to my house and service my Wi-Fi and multiple computers. Computer Doc also has a brick and mortar building on Old Monroe and a wonderful staff to fix lap tops and towers. They always tell me a few days but the service is usually quicker than that. I have been a customer for over 5 years and run a business out of my home that relies on prompt on-line sales. Kevin and his team answer my calls quickly and help solve my computer problems fast. Bottom line: recommend them!

We've taken our computers to Computer Doc for various things. They've always been professional and helpful. I would continue to use them when needed, and recommend their services.
